Finished to 6. I’m hooked so far even tho there’s a few weird moments that feel cringe, tho I think it’s supposed to be that way because Shi Yan just seems like he has no game.

I was confused at first about the niece. I didn’t realize it was a different girl for a while cuz her part in episode 1 was so short I didn’t remember what she looked like.

I love the support characters tho. I loved the one friend as the side kick in The Day of Becoming You. And the other reporter friend as the side kick nutritionist in Nothing but You. And of course Miles Wei.

Loving the support cast! The best friend is a character I have loved in other dramas as well, and I just realized the other reporter is the flower shop owner from Arsenal Military Academy.

Anyone else tripping out about how SY’s Mom is the same actress who played DaoMing Si’s Mom?!? (Meteor Garden). It’s messing with my head 😆😆

I was thinking the same thing. like why is he standing around in the cold? It makes no sense. But aside from that, perhaps his character is meant to be juxtaposition about how much she doesn’t want to be around someone her own age because he is just nothing like her at all. Her spirit matches SY way better and it’s so obvious to every single person except the ridiculous hockey trio. The awkwardness of the uncle is killing me

I like PanRou too. it’s refreshing that she gave up so early on. (also I love her voice. it’s so soothing in a weird way).

What the heck did I just watch?!? I was actually really enjoying the first half of this drama. I thought the lead character did a fantastic job of portraying an adult in a kids body. I loved Gao WenMing’s dad, I thought there was some beautiful parenting moments of him teaching Chen Bida how to be a dad etc. I was intrigued! and then it was just an absolute dumpster fire for an ending. it made absolutely no sense and felt so rushed. And the final bro moment in the lab when Chen Bida is still in GWM’s body and totally fine and then he’s like dying all of a sudden for no apparent reason? It made no sense. And then I was honestly SUPER disappointed that Chen Bida and the mom didn’t get together at the end. The weird ghost moment and then GaoWenMing being a substitute for his dad? what even was that 🤦🏻‍♀️ I seriously feel like I wasted so much of my time if that was the ending.

I agree. He looks dead behind his eyes half the time. FL is a great actress tho.

How is this rated so high?? It’s terrible. At first I loved the female lead but idk.. I am having a hard timing getting thru this now. The Tang Ping character is so excruciatingly annoying.. I’m hoping it gets better but honestly it’s getting hard to watch.

Exactly true. I rarely ever skip anything but the second leads drove me up the wall so after the 3rd or so time of him looking for umbrella girl, I couldn’t take it anymore. Then all the nonsense wheelchair stuff I would get so angry at them so skip skip skip

Steven Zhang* (damn u autocorrect)

I have always been impressed with Steven Chang’s acting, enjoyed Skate into Love, Go Ahead, The day of becoming you, the Justice, etc. But only recently did I start Symphony Romance, and holy *f$&@*. Turns out he’s also an incredible musician!! Like he is playing the piano for real and he’s amazing! I’m so impressed. How does one person have so many talents? And at only 26? It blows my mind.

I loved this character. He ended up being my favourite character of the drama by the end. I’m interested to see more of Liu Yu Ning in future dramas.
