mainly I don't remember/ was focused on the romance, because I was crying over HZQ all day. Only he mattered for me (For my own emotional reasons). and i remember a dialogue which i absolutely hated, the ml will say something like "I must have you" so it felt like she is kinda forced at that point. She did like him, but at that moment i felt she was forced to be with him. Maybe if he gave her some time to think and answer, it might be different. But when I watched, it felt forced. I never rewatched, cause, I'm still so emotionally attached to those characters. so I don't remember the whole romance plot at all.

Oh please, I'm pretty sure, people who complaint about romance won't have watched Chinese version. And also, there were people who hate the whole romance plot when Go ahead was released too (I felt romance plot was completely unnecessary, because I was more into the whole family bonding). All I wanna say is, people saying Go ahead is masterpiece and people complaining about Romance plot are two different set of people. I personally think, it literally have nothing to do with defaming the drama, but just opinions!
I am not watching this but still wanna say something, people saying don't compare this and go ahead. Guys, it is a remake, you can't expect everyone to not compare, I personally didn't start because I know once I start watching, I'll automatically compare, because I literally lived with those characters. in simple, what I wanna say is, It's remake, comparison is inevitable. because they set a standard whether you enjoyed or not. If any drama is remade, the remake and OG is ALWAYS compared for good or bad.
Also, this thing goes both way, automatically with this release, i saw posts saying, Go ahead was boring, cringe, or acting was bad. Kinda same thing happened when Someday Or One Day 's korean remake was released.. where the OG drama was called boring and korean version was so much better, and actors are called ugly and their acting is bad (I still feel bad, the rating of SOOD dropped to 8.9 after korean remake release).
