Oh by the way, forgot to add that I also totally agree with your rewatch value score of 10! In fact I’ve already watched each episode at least twice, and I plan on watching the entire series again soon! Haha
Liked your review and generally agree with your comments/sentiments, especially around the volume of the background music. Mind you the music are all lovely, but you’re right it can be distracting and you can’t hear the speech/conversation , but it is not too big a deal. Thank goodness they fixed it though.
However, I guess as opposed to you I like Duan Ran’s Mum, even when it was noted right from the start that she opposed of Duan Ran and Xixi’s relationship. I especially liked that she treated Xixi as her own daughter all along (and hence partly why she objected to their relationship. But good that it turned out well in the end! :)
