Imo it's because the ml in the beginning said that the marriage was for family benefit only and he's not interested in her and she overheard that. So fl chose divorce because she is the type that have her pride and don't want to go begging for his love nor want to force him to love her. Also, I know ml explain that he's not with the green tea but what women could stand her husband keep leaving her even at night time to go go help a damsel in distress at every beck and calls? But I do love that the fl didn't pay any attention to the green tea one bit whenever she wants to start something. Walking away each time was so satisfying lol
