Lol, someone else who finally agrees with me about Oh Hae Young. She was so annoying and whiny. I couldn't understand why people loved her, she literally threw a rock through a window because a man (who was not her boyfriend nor owed her anything at this point) was having a conversation with his ex.

I don't know them all but such a fun list to read. I couldn't agree more with Lee Jin Sook. She is eternally amazing. Its a slow-building love with her character but once she has you, its forever.

As for your question, rather than stretch them out they have basically taken all the events from all the diff versions, and added a few things here and there. I don't really like long drama, anymore than 20 normally puts me off, but to be honest the 49 didn't feel that much here. Its very light throughtout because of the fast resolutions, though this does somewhat create a circular feel.
in terms of the dubbing, I read its something to do with China having so many dialects, so some networks dub them with voice actors that have a neutral acccent so it can be understood by everyone.

Haha fair enough. I don't like dubbing either, but I did hear there's a non-dubbed version, but not sure if it'll be available online.

Yeah we defo got a little more of a resolution for those two characters, Xiao Yu and Xi Men.

I have tried starting it a few times. But I defo agree that it took lots of little things from all the others and put them together.
