DRAMAWORLD EXPERIENCE

- started watching Asian dramas in 2017, Korean first and slowly included Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese and Thai; currently I'm mostly watching Thai and Japanese dramas because they fit my mood at the moment (and because I'm on a withdrawal from Chinese dramas)
- first drama: Stranger (I fell in love with Asian cinema and never looked back)
- first movie: The Handmaiden (it was a bit shocking, not gonna lie)

Favorite genres:
Mystery
Supernatural
Fantasy

Least favorite genres:
Horror
Political

Preferred in dramas:
Romance
Well written ending (preferably happy)

To avoid if possible:
Corruption
Bullying
Dead fish kisses

- story is more important that genre (I can watch almost anything as long as it has an interesting plot)
- something between plan watcher and mood watcher (not having any kind of plan often throws me into a drama slump)
- almost never rewatching dramas (unless I don't feel like watching anything new and nostalgia hits me)
- in recovery from NDD
- never suffering from SLS (I sympathize with those poor guys but I'm not investing myself emotionally for nothing)
- usually put off by the hype around dramas (I don't trust the ratings very much)

RATING SYSTEM

Rating reflects my overall feeling about a drama/movie. I rate based on enjoyment but try to be as objective is possible. I tend to look for positive sides first when forming an opinion. In some cases I might give a slightly higher or lower rating if I particularly liked or disliked something. Anything I rated below 5 - wouldn't really recommend.
