Had been very pleased with this drama but, good God, what the hell happened? Episode 11 was a train-wreck of stupidity and pitiful over-acting. It has morphed into a Mexican novella. Couldn’t finish 11. Maybe after a few glasses (or bottle) of tequila I’ll manage to get through all 12.
Loving the show, but…what’s with the atrocious toupee on Bok Gyu? The actor has a photo with a nice head of hair so what’s the deal with the ugly hairpiece? Will this prop reveal itself to be a pivotal, climactic component of the drama? Ahh! Horns! I'm putting my money on…horns.
A very enjoyable show. What I find quite interesting is that the actress playing Do Do Hee (Ms. Kim) is only 24 years old! Her polish and presence (of course, she is beautiful) are remarkable. Also, Song Kang probably gets out of bed in the morning looking exactly as perfect as on screen. If he ever got a pimple, South Korea would declare a period of mourning. A fine actor as well.
Saw all episodes. My sincere regrets to the actors.
The question “what the f**k happened?” would be perfectly appropriate to ask the writer(s) and/or director for the abysmal descent into (really) stupid-stupidity from a initially promising story.
My recommendation would be to see the Korean first. I wish I had. After watching the Taiwanese classic first,…
Well, that could be the case for some folks so I send my best wishes for you to make the best choice—for you. When I’m faced with this type of minor dilemma, I adopt the best, most scientific and age-old gambit available: a coin flip!
Again…what the hell happened!
Happy Birthday!
Like eating your children!
Best wishes to you.
