I just watched episode 3 and I like it.

My disappointment with the series probably stems from the fact that the writers created a multitude of characters who had significant potential for other stories. Perhaps the whole thing should simply have been longer? The love triangle should also have been omitted. Life offers much more than two people loving one another. The unrealistic plot of adoption by a wealthy woman was also unnecessary. If the writers had stuck to the original story, the time jump probably wouldn't have been necessary at all, at least not as long.

The first half of the series was very good, then something went wrong.

Oguri Shun has such expressive eyes.

I think so too. Chinese dramas have absurdly high ratings, and I know they're long, boring, and mostly pointless—especially the endings. I have friends who watch Chinese dramas, and that's how I know, because I don't watch Chinese productions myself and I have no intention of doing so.

From the beginning, I felt there was an imbalance in the heroines' friendship, favoring Jong Hui. Not all friendships stand the test of time and life experiences.

Kim Da Mi looked so pretty in her dress. I would have preferred FL with Jeong Hyeon, because I think their relationship would be free of the burden of the past. I'm curious to see what the writers chose.

The heroine said 7 years earlier that she wanted to become Miss Korea.

I prefer Jeong Hyeon to Jae Pil. Maybe because of the character, or maybe because I like Kim Yung Hyun.

And where am I questioning the fact that she's the main character? I'm just saying that I didn't feel her absence in episode 7, and then it turned out her character was a bit boring as an heiress.

Episode 8 wasn't as good as episode 7 in my opinion. There was too much about Jong Hui, who is not as interesting a character as she was before.

I agree with your opinion. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy watching all the characters, even those who appear in smaller roles. I also feel like each of them could have had their own, more developed storyline. The characters feel very real. It's hard not to like them, with all their flaws and strengths.
