I liked "Resident Playbook". It wasn't as good as "Hospital Playlist", but I have fond memories of the series. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think actress Go Youn Jung is particularly talented. I think many people admire her because she's pretty. Yes, she is, but in a way typical of young Korean actresses today. They all look the same. O I Yeong's character seemed sullen and lazy, and I don't think it was meant to be. The romance with Do Won didn't impress me either. In my opinion, it was childish and devoid of chemistry. It's not the actor's fault, who was great in scenes with others, e.g. as Im Jae Il's mentor. However, I liked the other characters right away. I really liked the relationship between Kim Sa Bi and Jae Il. I would have liked to see more scenes with them. I mercilessly rewinded the main character's romance towards the end so as not to feel embarrassed.
I don't understand Disney+ policy towards Korean series. I really wanted the to see drama "Our Movie", so I searched and found it. It's a shame I had to do it this way. I really liked the first two episodes. The chemistry between the actors, the dialogues, the mood. The main character is wonderful. Contrary to expectations, I wasn't sad yet, but I laughed a few times. I'm waiting for the next episodes.
the comedy made me watch it actually... different taste, different expectations
I really don't like comedies, especially simple comedy gags, screaming. I prefer when comedy elements are subtle and interwoven from time to time, and not overused.
The series had potential: good actors, the story seemed interesting, but unfortunately the comedy elements ruined everything. It's impossible to watch the constant screaming and slapstick.
