Please, start using a brain if you ever get a hold of one. BL literally is about love between men, that's it, it's in the name. This movie is far from that, it's about the exploitation of gay young men that are desperate for care and help, men that for that reason end up getting hurt in innumerable ways throughout their lives, induced to sell their owns bodies, take jobs that are far too dangerous, trust horrible people, only to get betrayed, discarded and, of course, killed. This is not just a fanstasy about romance, this kind of sh1t happens in real life to real people all the time. Calling this a BL, or even 'Hard BL" is the same as people saying something is a "dark Romance" to excuse the disgusting romanticization of many kinds of abuse. Not every piece of art with two or more gay/queer men is a "boy's love" project. By your weird and messed up logic a lot of the horror movies out there would also be considered a romantic and heartwarming love story, yet they aren't. Adonis is used by every single person that he meets along the way, even his lover, the guy that he trusted and hoped for a future with, is one of the men that r4pes him for the gruesome filming. Now, tell me, how tf is this a boy's love?

I definitely wasn't expecting it to take such a emotionally deep turn, thought it would be another cute and fluffy series, but oh how could I've been more wrong, now I'm completely happy with where they went with it. "Love for Love's Sake" has taken a place in my heart right next to "The Eight Sense", two fantastic, intense and heartfelt productions that deserve so much love and recognition 🧡

THIS IS NOT A BL, it's not supposed to be cute, not supposed to be romantic, or funny, or nice, it's not supposed to have a happy ending, it's an art movie having a take on the p0rn industry and how exploratory it is towards new actors, young queer men, or naive desperate people in general, without seeing them as humans, they're always seen as products with only one purpose, this is about real life, BL mostly isn't, this film was made to cause discomfort, it's meant to show the reality of many and the end of some. I've been into horror for long enough and trust me the whole cutting scene been filmed to get distributed afterwards isn't new, people in real life consume that kind of sh1t. This film is not for pleasure, art is not always for pleasure.

I was kinda unmotivated at the beginning too but I persistent, just finished it and, honestly, one of the best dramas I've watched, pls give it one more chance :)
