The problem is that all the people I've tried to talk to in this comment section so I could figure out what issues…
Personally, I don't hate this drama, I only have strong feelings if a story involves something criminal without acknowledge it (like the kidnapp of a minor in Boys over flowers). But you guys could leave your fanatism aside and recognize this story has flaws. It doesn't mean it is a bad drama and it doesn't invalidate your personal experience. Being honest, the world in LR breaks many rules about time traveling to the point it doesn't make sense anymore. It is a script problem considering that the story takes very serious every change made while time traveling. Does it ruins the whole drama? No. It is still funny and cozy, there are great performances and the whole production is very good. But there are some coherence issues around and also the attitude of the FL is confusing. She's over 30 but always acts like a teenager? That's not very realistic. Comparison works to show how can some elements could be better developed. There's nothing wrong with a light, funny, romantic comedy, it can have all the cliches in the world, as long as they are well executed. King the Land and Bussiness Proposal are good exemples of two enjoyable and well executed rom coms without further intentions. So, LR has flaws, but it is still an enjoyable history that can touch hearts, and delivers great acting. That's it.
I wasn't aware there was a war down here untill I entered yesterday to write a review. I fact, it is absurd to have extreme postures over a TV show, both adoring and hating, and even more, to fight about it with strangers. Fanatism takes perspective out of everyone. You can love a tv show and still acknowledge it has flaws. You can dislike a tv show and acknowledge it has good characteristics, it's completely normal. How can people fight about the rating is has, the rating it should have and the rating it "deserves"? God, this is an app about tv shows, there are some actual problems in the world out there. And I know dramas are a nice way to relax from every day problems, I find a lot of confort in them, but you guys are taking all the fun from it with this nonsense. I thought Dramaland was very different from the toxic k-pop community, a nice community of viewers just sharing recommendations. Clearly I was living in my nice IG world following the right people because we always respect each other opinions. These "battles" that I've discovered here in MDL are honestly ridiculous. If you see a hate comment, what about not replying?! don't feed the trolls.
About the "future" spoilers - technically Sol didn't outright tell Sunjae and KTS what would happen. Same with…
Actually no, she told her brother to play those numbers in the lottery untill they work, I saw that scene 2 days ago. About the clues, come on, she didn't say it directly, but then they openly talk about it, like when Sean Jae asks Sol: "when are you going back to the future?" 🧐
How many times does the FL goes back in time and changes everything? 🥴 I've lost the count. it really doesn't make sense even in a fantasy world to keep doing that over and over again. The story doesn't have to create a perfect world but there are logical rules that other dramas respect and they do a wonderful job, like "A time called you". They made the rule that she can't talk about being able to travel in time, but then two characters know and it's ok? And what about telling someone the numbers of the lottery? They mess with time so much, it's absurd. I'm at episode 14 so I'll finish it, but it is just getting more and more questionable. Such a pity, it started off very good.
I have never studied for more than 6 hours a day and that was just for the university finals with 7 courses a semester 😅 Although I guess I learn in a different way, mostly from listening lectures. Still, top 10 out of 140 in my law class, in the best and hardest university of my country. Korea is crazy when it comes to studies, how much useful things can you guys learn?
because she actually doesn't care about anyone. She just wants to complete her mission as soon as she can. thats…
I get it, but I think this drama should be labeled as "explicit violence" because it takes a lot of screen time and I, among other viewers, dislike explicit violence like that.
I just watched the second episode and I'm very confused. I can understand that Kang Bit-na is a demon and she's unapologetic, mean and egotistical but it's kind of disturbing to watch. The fact the she let the offender walk away with the purpose of him hurting the victim... WTF? that's so disturbing!! Also, am I the only one who feels the torture to the offender is still disturbing? Ok, he had no idea of the actual effect of his actions and I can see where they were going but no "satisfaction" to me. Is it because I'm a lawyer that doesn't believe at the slightest in Talion law? maybe, but no one can argue that those scenes were very violent. Since I really like Park Shin-hye and the character of the ML, I'll what the episodes 3&4 to decide if this drama is worth the watch overall. Still, all the violence feels unnecessary.
Lovely couple but the drama didn't deliver. Maybe because it's been 7 years, but all the "humor" with the gay jokes? 😐 Way too much. Also dislaked all the nonsense with the gang and their -not funny at all- plot. Seriously, I skipped like 2 hours of nonsense. The family of Bong-soon, on the other hand, they were funny, love them. The second lead had an annoying attitude, I feel they could have done better with that character. The villain had no purpose, he was just evil and idiot, I hate when they have those characters. The thriller side was low. Overall, it's enjoyable and the couple is super cute, love them both individually and togheter, but it didn't age quite well....
Finished watching Twinkling Watermelon and really enjoyed it. The 18 year old Ha Yi Chan was by far my favorite…
I have the same doubts 😅 I think Lim Ji Mi was actually married to the father but in a transactional way, maybe that's why he "fired" her. Regarding 4, I think she runned away and that's why she met Ha Yi Chan in the class for sign language. Number 5 wasn't really addressed jeje. I think that none actually cared about Cheong Ah in the school, because she was there only to be under the control of Lim Ji Mi. So basically ahe could just paint.
