lol I don't really know that much. I just browse weibo waay too much. It's a toxic mess because marketing accounts will post anything for likes and traffic .
The only things I know for sure is that a whistlerblower sent in a report about Zuer at the end of August. After internet uproar，the tax authority said they would look into it.
At the end of September, IQIYI released this list rescheduling this from Q3 saying they would air this by the end of the year. The tax department has still not issued a notice convicting her of a crime. Her weibo is still up and it doesn't look like her endorsements have been cancelled. She was erased from a variety show appearance but so has Cai Xukun and he is fine now. These are the only known facts.
I just figure if they are still planning on having this on the schedule for this year there should be some type of clarification coming in the next few weeks.
It would be pretty funny though if they don't clarify anything and just act like nothing happened and air drop this. Because technically, if the tax authorities don't say she committed a crime what keyboard warrior is going to say otherwise?

Yeah it's still up in the air but she hasn't been accused by the tax bureau yet only reported.
I think she is just waiting to see what they say about her finances before making a statement but government bureaucracy can take weeks/months and the report was only sent in at the end of August.
