The last and the hater eps were definitely my favs, they felt like I was watching girl from nowhere but others just didn't hit the mark for me and not acting or quality wise because becky and the cast did great. The writing and execution was definitely the main problem like not saying that the story should spoon feed us the theme to understand but it should atleast be comprehensible to make our own perspective, I couldn't do any of it. It was like they were trying to make a point but halfway through it will just get lost. Although it's inevitable that comparison will happen, I personally wouldn't compare the og girl from nowhere and this because it's a reset for a reason, I also actually liked how becky was so different from the og nanno too, she nailed whatever she was given I just hoped the stories did more justice to the franchise.

At first I thought it was maybe just a genuine concern rather than something romantical when yu geon pitched to tutor jeong yeon but when he said to adult jeong yoen that he still felt like he was in HIGH SCHOOL in ep 2 before them KISSING, like ik he didn't initiate it but he didn't resist it either and the reaction after that like wtf?? That was it for me and after reading the spoilers here it sounds way more worse. I rarely drop any series no matter how bad it gets but this was just straight up uncomfortable to watch, well atleast for me.
This series had been on my watchlist since what like dinosaur era maybe and I'm so glad I finally gave it a chance and completed it. It's been so long since I've enjoyed an ml this much in a bl, akafuji is absolutely hilarious the comedy is not awkward at all, I literally had to rewind some scenes because I couldn't stop laughing and I personally believe executing comedy well is way more harder than crying scenes so I was pleasantly surprised but my favourite thing was how this series blended the comedic and emotional scenes so well nothing felt abrubt or out of a sudden as it happens often in many romcom bls and trust me when I say eyesore is an understatement to those scenes. All in all a REALLY enjoyable watch and honestly I can't even be mad about low eps since I can jump to s2 rn (perks of being late I guess ðŸ¤)

I was also really interested in the crown prince and huo yings story, they had so much potential istg and shen shong can just have me idc, I'm so mad at myself for starting this so late and it PHYSICALLY hurts me to see this series being so underrated.
I agree with the other's that the ending was kind of rushed particularly with the nc scenes but it didn't change my opinion of the series in the slightest bit. It's been so long since I've seen a plot so refreshing and well done at that too, it would have been perfect if they had more eps to explore the story in depth but I'm glad that they atleast delivered what this story was trying to convey with limited time so beautifully especially in initial eps somehow that part didn't feel rushed at all, atleast to me. Both the actors had very good Chemistry and them being eye candies was such a plus point I was running laps in my room like a crazed maniac with ogami's moaning particularly that "hmm" when kano told him to wait in the nc scene (I'm too much of a simp for good looks 😔) I love how their whole world didn't revolve around each other they had their own personalities and problems. I didn't get attached to them as a couple but I cared for them as individual characters (y'all get what I'm trying to say right?) I also love how ogami liked kano in both worlds but had so much difference at the same time too, I really wished to see their couple arc more ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. Overall a very good watch for me, It physically hurts me to see this series not getting the hype it deserves 💔 (lastly sorry for my bad english)
