Just reread the novel and still enjoyed it. I love CCQ/MQ but GS was too passive. Other than being shocked and surprised we don’t get much out of her. I hope Zhou Ye brings much more to the role. I’m thrilled that Tan Jian Ci is the ML. He’s awesome in LYF and can dance and sing very well, so I’m looking forward to his singing in the drama.
There are some plot holes and some things are unexplained, like how did CCQ find who she was and why didn’t he approach her earlier?
I hope the drama gives us the details that are missing in the novel.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but part 2 needs to wait at least 3 months after part 1 to air per new Chinese regulations. Part 2 hasn’t got a distribution license yet, but it’s currently rumored for December or early next year. So yeah, there’s going to be a long wait before we can watch part/season 2.
The first episode was interesting enough except for the CGI. For an S+ production of such high calibre actors, Youku sure let me down big time with the cgi. Those boats looked so fake! And Reba’s sweeping in the sky just didn’t look realistic enough. Such a let down!

However, nothing is officially confirmed unless Youku releases a confirmation poster with an airing date. All rumored dates are just a rumor at this point.

Hope we get a cast confirmation soon. I like Zhang Lin He and would love to see him play Sang Yan, but I'm open to whoever they choose as long as it's someone with acting experience.
