I'm very disappointed with their choice of actress for Yi Fan's role. I like Bai Jin Ting (but hoped Zhang Ling He would get the role) and I'm guessing he'll have to be the one to make the drama work.

I totally agree. I wish they had found someone else for the FL role. She's pretty and I tried to like her in A Date with the Future, Love is Panacea and My Boss but found her acting lacking. I watched them because of the male lead actors but I just couldn't feel the chemistry between her and them.
