As someone said before, I'd add the stupid and nonsensical excuses some writers use to keep the leads apart -only for 3 or 4 episodes- when they know (and we all know) they belong to each other: *because he/she aren't good enough *to protect her/him *for her/his family *for her/his work and so on... Until in the last 2 chapters they reunite. =/
If a drama is popular, more people are going to watch it (and more people are not going to watch other dramas, because time is limited and they are watching the ones everyone is talking about), despite how good/bad it is. Sadly (in my opinion) some of the most popular dramas in 2016 weren't the best ones, hence this results; it's inevitable.
One word for this show "OVERRATED" I don't understand how come this kind of show can get a 9.2…
Mmmm I think we shouldn't compare. Signal has the same score that Goblin, because Signal in its genre is a 9.2 (or more); Goblin is a 9.2 (for now) in what it's offering: great production values, fantastic cinematography, good characters and actors with incredible chemistry, humor, and an intriguing fantasy story (at least at the beginning).
That being said, It's possible that now that all the cards are laid on the table, I feel the plot needs to move on to something. The beginning was very good, the introduction of all the characters, their stories, how they now relate and... not much more. We heard enough times what will happen when the sword is drawn out; and yes, she IS the goblin bride, so...? At this rate, production values aren't gonna suffice to keep the show going.
And I'm not saying it because I don't like it, I love this drama, but I want the plot to keep on with a great start (and all the other things that are still great).
I wonder if we'll get a sappy cliched happy ending? I hope not. I would like that sword to come out and him…
I wish the sword is pulled out too, I don't like the idea of Shin being inmortal but; I'm hoping for a plot twist (and I don't care at all if it's cliche or only to give the series a "happy ending") where the goddess of birth gives the goblin "a human lifespan" or something like that.
This is the first time in my life I watch an episode twice, because I can't wait for subs :O
They are so incredibly good together... definitely couple of the year! <3
Okay, so I have two guesses as to what MAY happen in the end :- 1) She ends up with Lee Min Ho (considering the…
hahaha XD
Or maybe, Lee Min Ho it's a "normal" person; and she finds true love with him, and not with a fictional character, and it was all a test from the angel (?)

But I have to admit, Jeon Ji Hyeon is the best <3
