Yeah...Love is Sweet...If I remember correctly, it was in episode 33, the forced abrupt 'feminist' fight that really put me off that. Where the ML tells the FML to resign because she was destroying her health, that he was capable of taking care of her financially, and it suddenly became an issue of feminism for her. 'Why would she need a man to take care of her?'... Other things piled on and that just snapped it all for me. It was a really good drama otherwise, one of my fav ML.

Appears to be the case. He even ignored our reply to him where we cleared it up for him, and just proceeded to edit his comment and doubled down on his defense.

It was more of a general comment about the state of dramas today than for this particular cdrama. In fact, I've yet to watch this, so can't say whether this breaks the trend.
If it is as you say, then sure. But seeing from other comments in this chain, it seems to follow a similar enough pattern.

Damn...I was not expecting to see someone else here who shared the same opinion, and even more so that others commented in support. The comment section of this site had always been filled to the brim with feminists, that's why I never bother to express my opinion here even though I've been watching dramas for a good while now.
This whole feminist agenda that these dramas keep pushing already killed the kdrama for me, and now even in cdrama, I have to look really hard to find something decent to watch.
If you have any recommendations for me brother, please, I'm all ears. Just needed something to watch and relax, don't want the political agenda shoved into my face.

Wrong info, brother. I'm on ep 25, hs arc has long been done, they're all in uni already and rom is moving forward. They arent dating yet but the story's all been about that, lots of development.

The irony of your comment. She chose the subject for the guy she loved. Her life, her choice, its just you who cant understand that perspective.

Fans are actually necessary for sports, just as they are for the entertainment industry. Lets take football for eg. If the stadium stays empty for a match, no one'll earn anything. There wont be any ticket revenue, sponsors wont sponsor the team cuz no one watches so they cant advertise their company, the team wont make any money so wont pay the players. Thats y wht ML did in a certain ep, lashing out against the fans, that was pretty much a career killer.

Believe me, its better to wait for the final episode. The plot twist at the end will resolve it all. Its actually a quite decent plot twist imo.

I agree. Just finished watching all the episodes. Before the drama hits, it was actually going quite good, even tho it copied bits from that descendant kdrama. But then it swirled down in a dumb mess. One after another needless dumb plots are introduced. 2 obnoxious sisters pop out of nowhere, just to create some tension, which they utterly failed at, and only resulted in annoying content. I started skipping at that point. And of course, this wasnt the end. As for the main couple chem, it was nice at the beginning, how they started, but that too became stale very soon. They barely got any time together. Always some disturbance pops up. The writers portrayed it as the side effects of their jobs, but it was farfetched. Mc and fml feel like mere roommates when they live together, barely any development in their relationship. And towards the end, the usual plot appears to force a time skip. I thought that was the worst, but they followed that with a bus hijack that happened mainly becuz fml was too dumb to mind her own business. All in all, a wasted potential, 7/10 for me.

I agree. Lots of decisions the leads took created distance between them. Its all subtle but it adds up and leaves an impression. Chem was up one moment but next, they killed it with some stupid move. Mc seemed too passive to me at the start. He was supposed to be the mature adult. Yet he had almost no control over his own life. His secretary interfering as she wished like she was his wife, his mother controlling, it was annoying to say the least. He could barely protect the one he liked. Then this hospital shit happened, and it killed the chem even more. I agree with your point about it. The moment fml decides not to tell mc, it killed whatever relation they had build up to that point for me. I mean, she was willing to take help from strangers, her friends, everyone, but her boyfriend. That shows reservation, and it paints a picture of hesitation on her part. If their relation was as good as portrayed, he would've been the first one she called in that situation. Not wanting to disturb him is a very weak excuse.
Also, moving further, they destroyed whatever chem they had left with the dumb plot with the brother. I dont know if you watched that far but the brother tries to make mc think that fml is cheating on him. And fml falls for his plot. First time, mc settles things, but again and again, fml takes that brother's side, and keeps falling for his plot. It became so annoying I just started skipping 10s of seconds.
All in all, I would give it a 7/10. And that too cuz I like the main leads; esp the female lead.
