Guys, guys how are you holding up now that our favourite show is coming to an end? I'm having a hard time. It's one of the best dramas I've watched in a long time! The cast, the direction, the cinematography... everything is chef's kiss! Every frame was a visual treat. I had the happiest weekends in a while!!!

OMG!!! Thank you so much for bringing it up. I thought I was the only one facing this issue. There were several parts where I understood Korean better than the subtitles.
The drama is so unique and cute. I'll definitely miss Yoon Bok and Hong Do. They have good chemistry and they're so adorable together. The thing I don't understand is that why can't people just accept this as it is. When a rom-com includes intense mystery elements in subplot, everyone would complain that it's unnecessary to add these in a rom-com. If a rom-com is produced and executed for the genre it is without much complicated plot and slight mystery, people would say it's too simple and bland. I don't get this at all. All I know is that human needs are insatiable. Lee Yoo Young is a versatile actress and so talented in all sense. She's so beautiful too. And somebody called her too old star alongside Kim Myung Soo. They're only 2 years apart in real-life. I also want to point out that the character Kim Hong Do is only styled like that to look older than Shin Yoon Bok. I really hope that everyone would love this drama for what it is. I have thoroughly enjoyed from the beginning to the end.
Oh my god!!! What did I just watch now?! I don't know whom I should feel bad for. Why is Otoya acting so innocent and disappointed at his wife when he's the one who started everything? He wouldn't have told his wife about his secret affair if it wasn't for her to catch him red handed.
It's true that Ichiko gave him the consent to have physical relationship out of their marriage. But why didn't he try to change her mind. He also knew how much she loved him and respected him. And just like that he went on to have a full-fledged secret affair with a married woman who is also a mother. He would have continued the relationship if his secret lover wasn't moving abroad.
I also can't justify what Ichiko did. Both of them have committed adultery. Why does Otoya thought that he could do anything out of marriage and Ichiko can't?! Open relationship is always a two way street. She also did what she did when they didn't open up to eachother. She could have atleast come clean by sharing the one time thing she had with a stranger. It's her fault. Atp, it's almost impossible to get back with eachother. Everything is getting messy.
The person I feel bad for is Shiro. It's a known fact that he is an emotionally detached person who doesn't know how to love. But he's doing everything in his position to provide his family with what they need. He could have also cheated on his cheater wife when he has gotten the chance even without trying. But he chose not to and decided to change himself to rebuild their marriage and family. Their relationship is so toxic, ngl!

I'm glad that you didn't compare this wholesome drama with the most popular drama of 2024. Almost everyone compares every other drama with that. 😭😭😭 I love this drama so much.
