Well, I'm a male and have to say that I loved this show! It's obvious that it's aiming for the younger audience that enjoys sweet and fun love stories, and it captured my heart! I know that some people think that kdramas are just for girls, but I really had a blast watching this one.

For the actors, I'm not gay or something, so I obviously didn't watch it for the male lead. Though, I enjoyed this male lead a lot more because, in my opinion, he had a lot of personality and fun. I also laughed out loud a lot during my time watching it... sooo, yea. Also, your opinion on the female actor in this show stems from seeing her before, but to me, a newer viewer to kdramas and korean actors in general, thought she was perfect. That may mean that my opinion is irrelevant, but is seeing her before really a good way to judge a show because that's unfair. You're basically saying that actors shouldn't try unusual roles and only stick to ones that are perfect for them.

Well, I guess there will always be haters to popular things, but to be honest, none of your reasons have very solid ground except the fact that their opinion. Especially when you say that no character had very deep characterization even though our time with them should have characterized them well enough
