But when it comes to murder which a TON of shows have, everyone is silent. The hypocrisy... i'm tired of people
Yeah, but the people who get raped are to a very large extend women, the people getting shot are predominantly men. That should give you a hint towards an answer. Just imagine the uproar if Kinn had gone on a shooting spree and killed a few women… Women are precious, men are just disposable.
I totally agree! I can no more stand plots where the couple take two centuries to kiss/have sex, keep acting shy…
I guess they have to find a balance between what the customers (probably mostly female?) want and what is plausible.
What this series is good at so far, is the depiction of the emotional complexity of these situations. I haven’t read much of the book, so I judge the product only buy the telenovela. But in the romantic/intimate scenes one can pretty well sense that Porsche is desperately longing for a shoulder to lean on sometimes and physical body contact. Maybe I am imagining things, but I appreciate the effort they have undertaken in creating a realistic human being.
I think he does have feelings maybe or he just started to like him, but I don't think he has cemented his thoughts…
I mean, come on… in the TV episode Porsche grabbed Kinn’s penis and made him touch his own. He was rubbing his head at Kinn’s chest like a cat that demands to be petted. He asks Kinn why he cannot just admit that he likes him. Then they enjoy caressing each other for quite some time (not enough for my taste though). And then Porsche unbuttons Kinn’s pants and pulls them down…
Why the hell high Porsche wanted to know if Kinn likes him? Why was it so important to him??? Why did he look…
He liked him from very early on. If the show is somewhat realistic, I’d guess he found Kinn attractive from the very first moment they met. And of course he has this protective instinct as well. He did take care for the younger brother for such a long time, so, protecting Kinn was not too different a job. And he exposed himself so much at so many occasions; of course he wants to know whether his feelings are going to be reciprocated. (Just my guess...)
Episode 3 spoiler ( my button doesn't work again smh) Was Porsche drunk? Yes but so was Kinn. Both of them were…
A substantial proportion of the population is not of sound mind even when sober. And this concept of consent is mostly used by people who have no normal interactions with other humans anymore. Crazy times we live in.
So i just found out that when they say "khun nou" (I'm sorry if that's not how it's spelled) it literally means…
My impression is that it means something more closer to "princeling", something like "young master". The father is still around, and he deserves the highest respect.
