At first I was really sceptical as the question I thought about was: "how could this cliché fangirl theme be anything original and fun anymore?" But I surprisingly came to the conclusion that I'm enjoying the show so far... especially for the subtle interactions of Maitoh and Shotgun which give me butterflies and make me smile from ear to ear. I also quite enjoy the obvious interest that Gap is starting to show for Namwah and the show as a whole feels really refreshing.
Some people in the comment section might eat me alive for this, but honestly? The 4th episode was rather boring... I though the show was getting better as 2nd and 3rd episodes were better than the first one, but the fourth one was just not that interesting and the show started to feel rather repetitive. Is the show supposed to be headed anywhere? I guess this show just isn't my cup of tea, but I'm still able to watch it, so it isn't anywhere close to the worst I've seen (even though I had to skip some scenes), so I'll wait with rating it till it's finished and who knows, I might end up changing my opinion on it... (there certainly are dramas I've watched that were uninteresting till the second half which I ended up liking quite a bit when finished)
When I first saw the trailer for Big Dragon and AiLongNai, I was like "Where do they get these kind of actors?…
agree with hotter and hotter, but for the younger and younger part I'd dare to disagree with :D just looking at the ages of the OG thai bl drama actors when the drama was shot might surprise you (e.g. Make it right, love sick etc.) Their ages were actually kind of horrifying to see and I'm glad most BL actors are legal nowadays... Like they were as young as 15..
Contrary to how I felt about episodes 1 and 2, I quite liked episode 3, although the bodyguard scenes made me cringe so bad and the series as a whole still doesn't feel like anything I'd return to and rewatch, but as I said the series isn't that bad. (Edit: as I've read a few comments, I've apparently watched the cut version, but much prefer it over what was described to be the content of the uncut part...)
In my opinion the first episode was rather boring with episode 2 getting better and slightly more entertaining, so I'm still going to continue watching and hopefully there's going to be at least a bit of story involved although I know we can't expect much given that the novel didn't have it either. So far it's not a bad series although it's one that I'm the least excited to watch from the series currently on air.
So, what would I say about ep 1? It was very frustrating to watch, but still somehow very engaging and quite fun, so I'm pretty excited watch the next one. Update: Episode 2 is just as frustrating as the first one but still keeps you interested in what's to come.
In all honesty, I think my expectations where to high for this one (i have not read the book yet and I think I…
I personally really don't like to compare dramas one to another, but I have to agree that my expectations might have been way too high... the first episode was meh, not really that interesting and not really much telling..
I can't believe It's already been almost 3 years that we've been waiting for this to come out... Still can't get over the fact that we already have a release date for the first episode and it's next month! Why does the month literally feel like the 3 years now? :D
So far this series seems like a great one, it has likeable characters and cute interactions (the plot is more or less there, not the main drive of the series in my opinion), although some of the arguments and misunderstanding are so uncalled for and not needed. Amagi and Takara are both cute and quite likeable characters, although Amagi is sometimes overly excited (honestly I could understand him, since he has no experience with dating and love it seems), on the other hand Takara sometimes gives of a bit colder vibe than how he actually is inside, especially around Amagi which harms their relationship and causes misunderstanding. Can't wait for ep7.
I've been postponing finishing this series for so long (not because of plot or anything, I just didn't have much time and then forgot about it) and I finally got myself to finish it. It was a great story and I can't think about anything that would make it better plot-wise, but I really disliked the ending and just cried so much for Tofu although he seemed content and happy with how everything turned out, there's still something that doesn't feel right for me and makes me rather sad and emotional about it.
I've cried a lot during the 11th episode, everyone did such a good job in acting these scenes and it was genuinely moving and sad as you could feel Talay and Puen's suffering.
Oh, I just watched the 2022 trailer and I was like: "Why does it feels like I've already seen something with the same storyline?" Just after looking through these comments have I realised that there's been an older trailed that I've watched before :D
gaku was my favorite and the one i voted for the most during pre-vote so i was disappointed it wasn't his time…
They sure do... even though I'm dissapointed that Gaku didn't make it into the final group I believe in it as a chance for him to get a bigger oportunity (debuting on the Korean stage maybe?) and the final group does have a decent balance although I'm still a bit not sure about some things like for example their variety potential (I know that's not as important but like Enhypen has Sunoo, Seventeen has Seungkwan etc.) and in my opinion all of the jokesters aren't in the final group.
What is up with the rating here, this is really crazy I must say, one of the best bl ever and get only 8, I don't…
Honestly, It's sweet and all, but I've definitely seen better and worse shows, so the 8.1 is an accurate rating to me as I'd also give it something between 8 and 8.5
