she admitted to her mistake and apologised to him , which most royals who are spoiled would not do, it makes sense that you skippped it cause your small brain couldnt even understand the redemption arc supposedly. how her chaaracter changed was a keypoint. she went from trying to please her father and downing her sister to actually standing up for her friends unfair death and her uncles massacre killing millions. princess huaiqing did nothing while lin an actually did something, going against gaining her fathers favour to actuallly standing up from her spoiled brat image. and ofc its male centric so there had to be scenes for the ml to outshine more, cant believe you couldnt see through that. its so crazy u just have to watch the drama fullly

yes she is childish and it shows why. shes not a bland dumb character. her mother was constantly forcing her to behave in a certain way so that she was never to lose her fathers validation. which led her to people please others. they also show her competitive side by constantly competing with her sister when the sister doesnt even care which is how she met the ml.
ofc its a male centric dramaa and its sad you couldnt see through how they had to dumb down the fls and other girls to up him even more .whats best is that they didnt give up on her character. they gave her a character development arc when losing her friend in the palace and standing up for justice for her friend and the people who died in the massacre against her uncle . fyi pprincess huaiqing did absolutely nothing about all this while the fl did actually do somehting about it. she started to take her world seriously after losing her friend. she didnt have to be quiet and mature for her character to be validated. thats just how princess lin an was written
