omg i neeeed to talk about the characters
i cant believe how the fl acted sooo welll i havent seen that kind of acting in so long honestly it suprised me how well she acted this i even heard she even got injuries becuase of this- but she acted the role of ye heitang so well. she was so cool
omg i underestimated zhou yi rans acting- i thought he only aced cold characters but this really proved me wrong and i loved it. he played xun so well in different timelines as a father and a student
other characters liek the dad pissed me off so much - even the cha and miss tan parting was so right it was really nice to see the teacher knowing her worth and how much she tried.
i never expected the bully to turn out to be such an important character - im reallly thankful for his character
omg and sheng cheng and yu nian - i feel reallly bad for them their sacrifice. i hated sheng chengs character at the beginning, but he really changed for the better and his emotions valid, turns out he was adopted cause he was their at the end and he read the letter so he didnt die?. omg and yu nian i feel so bad since she lost a dad and her whole life changed. i commented about the security guard and yu nians friend - they were the mvp. i loved theyre scenes so much. overall such a comfort show with a 10/10 characters and story they COULDVE released more eps shwoing more like maybe all the characters meeting up but the letter at the end was worth it

i think someone else already commented this, but bringing it back on how this drama does not have cliche romance scenes - they dont even say i love you, slow motions scenes or even kiss scenes but their affection to each other is really warm and touching and it is shown alot through their actions and hwo they are to each other. its perfect like they are actually high school teenagers and really shows their lonely tough upbringning between the 2 characters

shudve given more eps covering the future of the two - kinda have a feeling the ending was rushed just to complete it with 12 eps. i wish this drama was promoted more but i dont think its that popular which is pissing me off

at first i thought 40 episodes were too much seeing how i ususally watch kdramas, but mlc was actually good because of not how the plot was dragged - it was the characters and they were so memorale and the cases were actually fu nto watch. i really likd fang dou bins and li lian huas dynamic like talk about best friends. im really gonna miss them

omg my second cdrama im watching after the double and i absolutely loved this one way better than the double. its so crazy like the characters are so well written and even the dynamics are really great. i feel like the ending was fair and to be expcted seeing li lian huas character but i will forever cherish this drama. it was so good

genuinely so much better than the k version which was dragging and so dramatic

very different from the korean ver, same cconcept but the stroy is taken in a different way - which is really interesting because if it was the same as the manhwa or korean ver it wouldve been predictable and boring. but since there are new plotllines and characters it makes it interesting plus they aced the cinematography in this well

youre right, i 100% agree that beomseok is wrong as i mentioned earlier. i dont have any personal experience similar to any of the characters - so i really cant relate to any of them. all im trying to say is the reasoning behind is action is misunderstood, many people assume he was driven out of jealousy and was spoilt rather than his having insecurities and being abusd at home. at the end of the day ig there still high school teens so we cant really expect them to think through his actions - which is also to why beomseok dint even expect suho to collapse and be hospitalized. just like how you can blame sieun for being cold and indifferent due to his past experience beomseok is also the same due to his past experience except he took things too far and stuff went overboard. i honestly dont hate a character it takes too much energy to do so, beomseok was a well written chharacter

as far as what i know he is actually misunderstood alot as priviledged because hes rich, but majority of them dont know about his abuse at home. and he really does not want to feel left out . oh beomseok is still a teenager if only his friends looked out for him more and not really believed everything on surface level. even his trauma responses are allso not fully devoloped so when he felt inferior he did the exact thing what his dad did to suho. we cant really conclude him as a good character becuase they do show beomseok regrettign at the end but not much becuase he left the country - what he did was wrong, very wrong it was not even fair to suho and sieun but what is misunderstood is the reasoning behind his actions

many people here assume oh beomseok is a backstabber, but he was continuosly bullied at home and at school - therefore he never really know how it actually fellt to be having friends and be seen becuase he always seeked validation from his dad, thats why small things like instagram follow triggered him alot - eventually he started smoking and shit and tried to follow suhos habits cuase he was quite popular and he had a large instagram following and he was cool guy. he was always left out and always wanted to belong but because most of the time he was silent a and had nothing to relate to he was outcasted- which ofc only he thought so when he actually wasnt. obviously that does not excuse his actions and to what he did to suho

this movie was crazy good, first bits are frustrating because of the character and the suspense just builds up making it all anxious, but trust it was a god watch with like plot twists stealing the show
