I loved the moment when it looks like he was gonna have a breakthrough and then he was like yeah no I’m not at fault here. That felt like a real character and not the noble idiot character. Like it’s very clear that she is protecting his brothers girlfriend and so I thought he was just going to be Noble and hiding his soft heart underneath all these layers, but no. He’s noble, but he’s also incredibly self-absorbed and that is so fun to watch.
