I guess there is a misunderstanding about the purpose of this voting list. "Most of the top-rated shows are not the dramas that top the popularity list" - I thought the very first line of the synopsis could summarize the entire purpose of the voting list. But I think it failed to do so. A few dramas like Hikaru no Go have only 6,450 watchers but still have a rating of 8.8/10. This means that even unpopular dramas can achieve such high ratings without any popular cast purely based on the plot, acting, screenplay, and direction. When I posted the voting list I expected dramas like Hikaru no Go to top the list. But unfortunately, this list has become a list to check the popularity of highly rated dramas and is not what I expected it to be. The highly deserving dramas continue to be at the bottom while the popular dramas like It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Crash Landing on You, and Alchemy of Souls get the top position due to their star-studded cast. In the end, I agree with you. I don't think this list will produce the result I thought I would get (Recommendations of great dramas that weren't recommended by many but still were a hidden must-watch gem)

Oh! Just now noticed that the ratings of Big Mouth dropped from 8.7 to 8.6. Removed it from the list now

And this list was created a year ago, updating it on a regular basis is a tedious process. These lists are merely to know about the views of various people, so I think it's worthier to leave them as they are now

This list contains actors from various countries and not just one. So I have to check the filmography of actors who I don't know before deleting them and it isn't an easy process to look at the filmography of 200+ people

It's kinda difficult to clean this list as most of them aren't character actors

This drama could have been remarkable as a movie and is not worth the 16 episodes. I expected a lot from this drama only to be disappointed by it. The story of how they strived to succeed in their business as a team was the only good plot in the whole story.

Ooh! Many people in MDL have been watching dramas for about a decade... that's a really long time.

It's extremely hard to recollect a drama we watched years ago.

I guess The Untamed was popular mainly because people loved the novel this drama was adapted from and also because of the male leads. I am seeing many comments about the actors than the drama. Maybe a few people who love BL also gave it a try even though this drama did not focus much on it. I started The Untamed because of the high ratings and popularity of the drama only to put this drama on hold because of the number of episodes. The drama was a bit different from the other historical dramas. But I don't have the patience to complete such a long drama and also I am not a big fan of historical dramas too in general. So, The Untamed did not grab my attention as well.

Yeah! Same here, I have dropped the majority of the dramas here. Maybe our expectations for these dramas were too high because of the hype they received.

I love Vincenzo, and I don't think it deserves to top this list. Maybe the people who binge-watched it found the drama to be boring. I agree Vincenzo wasn't completely perfect but still, for sure it doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 positions of this list.

I completely agree with you. He has a longer filmography than all the other popular actors out there. I see him in every drama I watch and "There he is." I am not surprised anymore.
