Well, I also read the webtoon and I find it kinda lacking compared to the K-drama. In the K- drama they fixed…
I believe he is Jiso brother in law and not her actual brother.
But even if I am mistaken it can happen. I suspect that YiJae didnt want to meet Jiso parents and family because he has embarrassed of himself. Her brother could also have been overseas. Maybe we will see the explanation for that in future episodes.

Death in the Kdrama was also pissed because YinJae wrote that he isnt afraid of death and that it is insignificant.
Also his personality might be a bit more likeable but he is still very self-centered, egoistic and very greedy.
I found Choi in the webtoon very annoying and unlikable and l almost dropped it because I didnt care about his character.
I didn't care what happened to him.
So I liked the changes.

As for the changes in each life they make perfect sense as with different lifes he takes their memories and abilities so he adopts some parts of their personality.

The drama is more realistic , raw and desparate. In the Webtoon after some point YinJae didnt even care about life anymore. He just wanted to be done with it. He tried to kill himself again and he couldnt wait for this to end. YinJae in drama is in a very rough situation and is desparate to live and survive because if not he will go to hell which is much worse. There is a desparation and drive in what he does that makes so much sense and makes the drama very intense.
YinJae in the webtoon couldnt care less.

Also the ending in the webtoon is a bit underwhelming. Where is his redemption arc? He wanted to end his life again in his last life and he was only forced to survive because he was in his mother body. There isnt a lot of character development when someone that commits suicide still wants to kill himself at the last life he has. Because of that I couldn't see why Death granted his wish at the end.

The baby murder got me mad, that woman deserves death. But other than great show. Probs best I seen this year.…
I believe it happend in real life in Korea, it is very devastating for sure. I mean if Choi Yi Jae is supposed to go to hell because of his suicide then these horrible disgusting pests that killed their baby where would they go? It justs seems unfair to me. They need to suffer the worst punishment.

I cant wait for the last 4 episodes!!! I dont undergraduate why they didnt make 16 episodes though. 😔
This is such a unique drama as it has so many good actors playing the same character in different lives. Seo inguk always exceeds my expectations with the roles he chooses. I truly wish him all the luck and happiness in the world since his acting makes me smile again and again.

I actually liked the k-drama version much more. It is more realistic and serious. Instead of the cliché bad superficial girlfriend that dumps the protagonist for a more successful man, we see that the protagonist thinks of her that way because of his inferiority complex. And he sees how much she loved him instead.
