Person Seo In Guk
if im being honest his look was never my type, i dont really find him the breathtaking handsome type, simply said…
His acting didn’t became bland at all. He is a professional actor and each role is so different from each other. His last 3 dramas are all hits, amazing for their own reason. My personal favorite is cafe minamdang. His range of expression is this one is just insane.

Person Seo In Guk
Overrated, has the same 5 facial expressions, relies on looks alone. Lucky guy.
Relies on looks alone? Seriously? Haha, this shows how you haven’t even watched a lot of his dramas if any for that matter. His range of expressions is insane, his characters very unalike in personality. Have you watched cafe minamdang? Shopping king Louis?
He isn’t afraid to make funny expressions and he is an incredible talented actor.

What you don’t know is that Seo in guk wasn’t considered handsome by Korean beauty standards in the past, he struggled a lot with his weight and almost lost his voice because of a diet he was doing when he was younger. That’s why he dedicated all of his life to acting, because he loves it so much and he couldn’t become an idol like he initially thought because of his damage in his vocal cords.

Well, nope. The killing of cats is my limit. I dont care if people are murdered but cats? No, this show is over for me. I dont care about the protagonist anymore, I hate him. And I dont appreciate so much animal cruelty just for the sake of showing how bad a character is.

The last to second death made me really dumbfoundead cuz it made no sense, then was he in a loop? how come it…
In the first episodes Death explained that when Yi Jae goes into another body the soul has already left. Hence they have already died. The point that Yi Jae enters the body is like the last save of that character before their death. Deaths makes an analogy to games that help. Playing a different character from the last save.

a great drama with such a disappointing ending :( a lot of questions with no answers: where did Mother's soul…
Your first question was actually answered by Death at rhe first episodes. When Yi Jae goes into the body of another person, that person has already died. It is like a game where the last save was the point Yi Jae goes into that body. So then he can "play" that character from this point on and live as them.

His good intentions for the people he "played" helped him develop as a person and learn to apriciate his own life.
Yeah I dont know about Ji Soo, because the CEO killer is on the loose. However, I beleive because Yi Jae didnt kill himself her destiny wont be the same. I mean probably she wouldnt be at that coffee shop in the first place.
I also dont know what will happen with the CEO. It is something that they could potentially work on a second season but I dont think it will happen.
The money well, maybe Yi Jae will go get them? or maybe he would have learned his lesson and wouldnt want to risk his second change in life for money agian.
I personally liked the ending, I dont think the show had to answer everything. I mean he went back before killing himself. They cant possibly gives us an explanation of what happened to all the other characters. There wouldnt be enough time for that.
I prefered the second part, it was so intense that I couldn't breath until the ending.

I felt like the ending was a bit underwhelming!
I liked the meaning of it by the end of the show but I didn't like the last episode.
All that energy they boiling by the end of 15 episode, I wanted to see it brust!
I mean It was so intence, heartbreaking and crazy but then at the last episode all that energy fell through. They added the Amnesia plot device that I never like. I wanted to see Do Hyun So feelings! The aftermath of all that trauma he suffered. How broken he was left of because of it. I wanted to see him finally getting the help he needed.

I dont agree with your view on suicide and since it is a sensitive topic I have to adress it.You cant compare…
Ah, I didnt know it was sarcasm, that makes sense. I am also sorry to hear that your are struggling and believe me I understand your frustration.

I really liked the show and some of the messages it had. I also understand that the point of the show wasnt to console the victims of suicide, it would have a completely different tone in that case.

The intention of the drama in my opinion was to actually show the harrowing implications of death. Many romanticize death and criticize life, so this drama flips this verse. It shows how some things are only in our mind and when we think no one loves us it is just a projection of our thoughts and not the reality. The drama wanted to also focus on the pain the families of the victims of suicide go through.

However, I really hope to see more dramas in the future revolving around suicide and other hard topics from other perspectives.
Because as much as society, laws, fans and common people think that they never played a part into driving someone to suicide we would never change.

This drama, although I loved it so much, it didnt touch on these issues. The point of it was that the death of a loved one is the most painful of it all. So why would you do that to your loved ones and commit suicide?

Although I understand the point, I think it isnt enough to help people who are so depressed that are considering suicide.
When you are depressed you begin to think only of yourself. Thats because your pain feels so intense that you cant see other people.

I believe that there needs to be more dramas that talk about mental health, especially when in Korea the suicide rate is like 30%!

People who consider suicide arent the only ones at fault, the society plays a huge part in their suffering. Thats something thta needs to be adressed as well.

It was entertaining and sufficiently triggering for my anxiety (all the 'if you kill yoself u r going to be burnt…
I dont agree with your view on suicide and since it is a sensitive topic I have to adress it.
You cant compare your life and your struggles to others. If you dont experience something yourself then all these talk, about other people have it worse than you so just suck it up, is worthless. Any person that has a basic knowledge on mental health knows that.

The genius with this drama was that Yi Jae experienced other peoples strugles himself. So of course now that he has all these experiences his reason for suicide seems stupid to him.

However when it comes to real life, it isnt possible. No ones struggle is stupid. And depression is real! When your mind and chemistry work against you It isnt something you can control and overcome on your own. Help, support and resourses are needed.

What about those two psychos running loose when Yi Jae gets back to his life;

If I was Yi Jae I would probably wouldnt want to get involved with the CEO again. He is too dangerous. But the crazy artist? Maybe an anonymous tip to the police would be sufficient; 🤔

What would you do?
Would you be able to sleep when knowing those nutheads are running around killing innocent people? 😬

the more you ponder over the ending, the more it'll feel hollow like with the overall message and fate of characters
I wasn't talking about the overall message. Death's game became one of my favourite dramas ever.
I dont think talking about the ending is pointless. I am just genuinely curious. Talking with others about our fav dramas and making theories about them is normal.
So I dont see your point at all.

I have a question. Yi Jae ended up getting a second chance in the end and went back to just before he committed suicide.
However, what about the crazy CEO and the psychopath running loose since it is in the past?
He would probably feel scared about Jisoo’s life, because she was destined to be killed by the CEO but also how could he even sleep when those two are alive and well? The psychopath kills random people for his art and the CEO is a danger to society. Poor Yi Jae.

Seriously! And I think they arent in fashion as much as they used to be. Crime and thriller dramas are more hyped…
Yes indeed! I dont think it fits them at all. Especially Seo Ham, I can't imagine him in a historical drama after his look on Semantic error. I mean they look so cool in modern streetwear clothing.
