The reason Ye Xi Wu dissapears before the wedding with TTJ is cuz YBC tells her their Grandma was in the hands of TTML. So Ye Xi Wu goes there to save her Grandma, o ly to find out it is all YBCs plot. That same night she inserts the nails into TTJ. Grandma was saved by TTJ and she died of old age in the novel. This was told to LSS in the immortal arc when LSS met YQY.
