It seems that Xu Zhengxi is bending his head in most scenes, no matter with which actor. Maybe this is how he or the director wanted to portray the character. It conveys the image that the character is pondering something, which he actually is all the time.

You could try The Blue Whisper - it has more kissing scenes and a HE, but it’s quite sad in many parts.

I‘m really interested in the political aspects of the story and the background of the characters. Hopefully Wei Zhao achieves his goals in the end!
For the tree scene in Ep 1, he could not have knocked JianCi out, bec she would have fallen down the tree unconscious and given away their position. Difficult situation for him.

I remember this was being discussed a lot at the time. For me, the actors should do what they feel more comfortable with.

In „Under the power“ he had a stand in for the actual kiss. Also for the scene when she feeds him medicine. But in The blue Whisper and Tand Dynasty it was definitely him.

OMG all these new clips … Allen looks so hot with the mask! ❤️ And so vulnerable and lovable in other clips … my heart will definitely break for his character.
