Agree, I would have preferred a smoother transition too. And a bit of an angstier tone in the village scenes. But I’m still really enjoying this drama and like you I’m looking forward to the angst to come. Hopefully it’s a HE though. Sad endings are so unoriginal and very easy to make.

I don’t think their romantic interactions feel forced, because honestly the romance started quite early in the drama already. The writers had to show us the romance as to throw us into the abyss later on.
However, I think the tone was too lighthearted. They could still show cute scenes and romance but it would have been more suited if the characters also showed a bit of angst, which they must have felt.

Sorry, I didn’t mean about this series, I meant the poisoning in the series The name of the rose. I didn’t watch that one and don’t plan to watch, so I was curious. Did they also use incense?

If the actors made such an effort to deliver a passionate kiss, why cut it? But I’m still satisfied.

I think they’re just talking like lovers do. They’re talking about what they would like to do. They both know it’s not realistic imo. He even said at one point his family won’t agree or something along those lines.

But other than that there is nothing that’s could cause a rift between them, is there? So I think this will be the cause. Also it’s foreshadowed by the raven scenes and when MJH said to himself “even a lifetime of atonement will not be enough”, I think he was referring to him training and poisoning her.

Agree! KmLm definitely delivers on the romance so far! I really also enjoyed the darker episodes at the beginning, but I’m happy that everything turned out as it is now.
