Since I didn’t know at all what to expect when I started I was soon disappointed in the story. But due the leads‘ chemistry and great performances I just enjoyed it then for what it was. I also loved the characters of Wei Yan and Gongsun Yang.

Yes! I saw that Bian Jian dubs RJL in his upcoming drama Love & Crown again, I‘m excited! That one seems to have quite a lot of romance. I‘m really curious to see how it goes.

Zhang Jie is if similar calibre. If I‘m not mistaken he and Bian Jian have a studio together. He was RJL‘s voice in Under the Power and the Blue Whisper, since then he‘s got my attention. But Bian Jian is the best imo.

I don’t think the ratings here on MDL are affected by the competition but people here seem to prefer classic romance dramas. There are exceptions of course.

Having English and Mandarin subtitles is a good thing. I really don’t like platforms that don’t have multiple subs. That said you can watch it on Tencent/WeTv and turn on only one language.
