From what I heard there was a similar attack on another person and another day... it had nothing to do with this…
It’s what’s missing from the press conference that makes what they’re trying to sell absurd. Was the Press allowed to ask questions or did they just sit there like drooling hunchback servants just accepting what they were being told was the gospel truth? Not one of them said “Well, that doesn’t make sense”? For example did anyone ask;
How did the alleged informant and the “Korean National” know each other since he was the one who had to bring the alleged attacker to the scene.
What happened to the attackers after the alleged incident? Were they arrested at the scene? Are they currently in jail or out on bail? If they left the scene why isn’t there anything about it in the US media? The United States does not play when foreign citizens come here to deliberately start shit. Homeland Security would be all over this, people would know two foreign wanna be killers were running around. It would def make the news.
Where exactly are the supposed attackers right now? That’s a pretty crucial piece of information you left out that could have multinational implications.
So we get it, the New Jersey State Police aren’t investigating, neither is Scotland Yard or security at Disney World because it has nothing to do with any of them if we’re being honest but why claim the FBI is involved? Why would they be? Unless someone (not you) has a connection in the FBI and they doing forensics on the audio that would be hilarious.
What town did it happen in. Can we see the Police Report? (Yes I am beating a dead horse)
It seems like they were trying to ruin careers, at this point it looks like they’ve succeeded in ruining their own.
But wait, there’s more! The informant needed to clarify his story. “Did I say neck? No, what I meant to say was hand and arm, not neck. That stock photo on the internet I provided was me. Oh wait, that was a neck. Ignore that, I’ll film my injuries from my updated version” Some reports say he filmed himself from the hospital. Really? What hospital has carpeted floors and paneled doors? Other reports have him going back home to film himself (umm why?) but then he was going back to the hospital. Pleaaaase, anyone familiar with the state of healthcare insurers in the US knows he is not going to be admitted for superficial wounds. Especially since he was able to get himself home and back again? Staaaap it.
Actually, the more I think about this logically, the more absurd this particular drama episode is. Let us take…
Totally agree. This particular episode has a lot of plot holes.
1. Since I’m from NJ I know that unless the “attack” happened on the Parkway, Turnpike etc. NJ State Troopers wouldn’t be involved with this at all. The Police Department of the actual town where the incident occurred would have been the agency in charge. NJ State Police have jurisdiction over the entire state in order to cross municipalities to investigate statewide crimes, pretty sure Troopers aren’t being pulled off organized crime and suspected terror investigations for a knife attack 🙄They will assist local Police IF ASKED, but they will only provide support.
2. Very convenient to state that it “wasn’t being investigated by the NJ State Police but the FBI” implying it happened in New Jersey but not naming the specific town the attack supposedly occurred in. Police reports are public record, easily obtainable if you know what town to request it from but instead they just leave “New Jersey” out there. Let’s just say the FBI is involved, under the Freedom of Information Act it would be easily proved if there was an investigation. You’d get 0 details except Yes or No but even that is impossible with the vague ,ambiguous information thrown out at the press conference.
3. The victim was stabbed up to 9 times in the neck in a life threatening situation. 9 TIMES? Seriously? This is the hitman they sent, 9 tries and he still misses the jugular? Again, this is where the name of the town would be helpful. What hospital did he go to? There would be a record of paramedics treating and transporting him to the hospital, probably not by name but incident details. Did he drive himself? Take an Uber?
4. The attacker entered the US through JFK a few days before the April 30th attack. What does it matter if he entered through JFK, LaGuardia, Newark or Philly? They add that detail like it adds validity to their claim. Umm you know what would make the claim totally believable? The name of the town this allegedly occurred in. Since we know that an “ethic Korean with Chinese citizenship” was the actual attacker and a “Korean National” brought him to the scene of the attack obviously they were arrested right? The US and Korea have an Extradition Treaty. Come and get your boy. Or did they escape and now we have two international fugitives running around NJ? Details matter when throwing out accusations. They requested an investigation into the “exact identity of the Korean individual” well he’s Korean and you’re in, you know…Korea. Start by asking friends and neighbors, I’m sure your friends at the FBI can point you in the right direction. Same with the “full details of the attack” what did the victim say? What did the attacker say? What did the police report say? If you yourself don’t know the “full details” it’s a little irresponsible to be holding press conferences that state innuendo as fact.
5. The attorney alleges that “Korean National” brought attacker to the scene of the attack SOMEWHERE in NJ, making him an accomplice. Did he know victim prior to showing up? How did he know he would be there? Could this just have been a random bar fight over someone saying Real Madrid sucks? Again, knowing exactly where this supposedly happened would answer a lot of questions.
6. The location in this episode is the United States. The main characters are the victim/informant who just happens to be in the US. The attacker, a Chinese citizen of Korean descent and the Korean National who should be the easiest to investigate inexplicably isn’t. The FBI appears in a supporting role but don’t have a speaking part. JFK Airport has a cameo. Sadly NJ State Troopers landed on the cutting room floor. Whatever Police Department would have done the actual work was not cast in this production. So the big takeaway is that a Chinese citizen attacked an informant on US soil, even if Korean authorities were inclined to investigate they don’t have any jurisdiction, hmmm you’d think any 1st year law student would know that. So weird🤔
6. “The bereaved family earnestly requested that only a portion of the information be released before the situation gets any worse. This is clearly a case of incitement to murder."
Whaaaaat? Before the situation gets any worse? Sir, you have straight up accused someone of attempted murder. BTW there is nothing clear about the case you laid out in your press conference. It was a hot mess, designed to try (I seriously forget his name lol) in the court of public opinion . In actual court you would never say any of that or if you did the opposing counsel would eat you alive with the “evidence” you provided.
I have no doubt the family is bereaved, ppl express grief differently, there’s no time limit but it seems like this is becoming less about their daughter and them and more about an attorney willing to say anything, enjoying the spotlight. At some point the guy is going to be dragged so far down into the mud he’ll have nothing to lose. They are probably thinking he won’t come for them bc it will make him look worse, so they have no fear of retaliation and say whatever they want, in every drama that’s not how it usually ends.
Anyway, before yesterday I knew more about the migratory patterns of Canadian geese than this, now I’ve gone down the rabbit hole I’m still 👀
Not Korean Netizens going after yet another celebrity with torches, pitchforks and dogs? I’d bet my mortgage that most of them are the very same ppl who spent hours online eviserating KSR after her DUI.
I don’t know a lot about what’s going on but the little I have heard just gives me the ick. Is her family demanding charges be brought that could result in prison time? If so, why now? If my child was with an adult 1 or 2 times, I hate to admit it but they probably could have hidden it. No judgement, but an ongoing relationship over years when they were a minor? I would know something was up and wouldn’t stop until I knew what it was then all hell would break loose. Are they suing civilly? If it’s for $1 and they’re doing it to make a point I totally respect that or if they win but plan on donating every cent to SA or Self Exit Prevention they are to be commended. However, if they are suing for money damages bc he’s rich? That’s a hard no.
Again, I don’t know much about this particular case. I’ll wait until the facts come out, bc they always do. I don’t know what their relationship was I wasn’t there, neither were the Netizens who are currently conducting their own high tech Salem Witch Trials. If you don’t have actual facts just make up your own bc sadly there’s no shortage of ppl who hide behind their computer gleefully posting vitriol about their latest target. There is one fact that is irrefutable, the fact that KSR chose to end her life is a tragedy.
It’s alarming how many Korean celebrities chose to end their own lives. This isn’t an Asian problem, the Chinese, Japanese, Thai etc. entertainment industries don’t experience this kind of loss. Neither does the US, UK, European, Canadian, Mexican or South American entertainment industries bc Korea has something all the other countries don’t. An army of Knetz who can and do say the most vicious, hateful things about who they are relentlessly targeting en masse that month. For some bizarre reason the fans believe that celebrities are their property, they can’t date (WTH? As if some K-pop star is going to find them in their Mom’s basement posting hate online and marry them, keep dreaming Sis) Or some “anonymous” rando pops up out of nowhere accusing an actor of bullying him in 1st bc he wasn’t invited to his birthday party. Knetz mobilize and blow the unsubstantiated, anonymous accusation up into a full on scandal no one waits for facts or questions why the whole thing was sus and just like that the actor’s career is literally over and the accuser stays anonymous without providing hard evidence.
The facts will be what they will be. if you like KSH or hate him will have no bearing on the facts. Knetz will giddily create and spread their own narratives bc that’s what they do. Serious ppl will wait for actual provable facts and evidence.
You’d think these hypocrites would have learned their lesson after the relentless, vile attacks they waged on Lee Sun-Kyun. If they had just waited for the facts and evidence instead of making up stories and passing judgement things just might have turned out differently. Instead they clutched their pearls for 5 minutes, pointed fingers at everyone else and moved on to their next victim.
How did the alleged informant and the “Korean National” know each other since he was the one who had to bring the alleged attacker to the scene.
