I know there’s a reason he’s being mean to her but I can’t help but dislike him and I just want Yin Xue…
I've been thinking the same about Yin Xue. There is a whimsical quality to that character. I've seen quite a few historical/wuxia C-dramas and I'm hoping for a bit different kind of hero and heroine because it has gotten a bit repetitive.

Guys,do Yoon Park had any feelings toward the female lead in this ??Is it a love triangle??did his character got…
Well, having said that I love the second lead and want him to get his own drama but I have no SLS.

11 episodes in and there is very little indication of a love triangle though they tease about it a bit.
I can't really recommend the drama because it was too long and a bit repetitive; however, much to my surprise, I didn't mind the ending that much. This is probably because I had seen a spoiler or two and I wasn't totally invested, but the ending and the choice made had a deeper meaning. Love: take it when you have the chance. I actually got a little choked up which is more than happened in Hwuygi (or however you spell it).

For anyone interested in this drama, I recommend ignoring the synopsis because the drama throws you right in and you won't understand what's going on right away. The synopsis events have basically already happened best I can tell. By episode 3 it is pretty much coming together. Oh and it doesn't appear Zhang Bin is the lead ...let's face it, they had their chance in The King's Woman.

Where can I watch (or download) this drama in high quality? Kissasian and dramanice say 720p but it looks like…
Viki and Dramafever have licensed.

I know most will prefer the character of Zhang Vin, but I am completely Team Vic Zhou (unless his character is…
I liked Zhang Vin and DD in The King's Woman but I don't need to see them together again as leads so I'm team Vic Chou (especially after seeing him in MARS.)

Dramafever will start airing it 3/5.

I don't have it in me to do a full review. It is a solid drama full of twists and turns where even little things end up meaning something several episodes later. Probably SSH's best performance. Having said that, it is ruined by the nonsensical last episode. I still enjoyed it only because I knew the ending went sideways before I jumped into the drama.

This writer really seems to like shitty endings (gods gift too...)
Don't know if it is true but apparently the PD took over the story for last episode because he had a disagreement with the writer. I don't think her ending would have been happy ever after but maybe it would have made sense.

I still don't know if the doctor is betraying Ji Soo Ho or not...
He's definitely giving mom info and apparently getting paid for it but, at the same time, he seems to like JSH and is sympathetic. I think JSH knows what is going on and the doc knows that JSH knows. Maybe.

Why is someone posting a review when the drama is only half done. I really wish they had a "dropped" section on MDL.
Elle Feb 27, 2018
I like him a lot. I did drop One More Happy Ending and am gearing up to start Prison Playbook on Netflix. I've seen the rest. Cruel City was so good in the first half and solid, though flawed in the second but JKH was great in it.

He is one of those actors like Ji Sung, Jang Hyuk, Lee Joon Gi and a few others that give us a drama every single year which I appreciate even if I don't stick with every single one of their projects. He has avoided being typecast which one can see when they view Cruel City and then watch OMHE (well I lasted 4ish episodes anyway). I was looking forward to the aircrash/island drama but the writing seems to have gone sideways which is unfortunate because it was something different.
Greenlemon Feb 23, 2018
It's a no go for me. I tend to love historical C-dramas way more than contemporary and this looks like cookie cutter stuff which is fine for 16 episodes but I imagine it's waaaay longer than that. If I hear that it ends up being super awesome, I'll reconsider but I'm not hearing great things and I'm just so so on Yang Mi with the exception of the epic Eternal Love.

Haha well, lemme just give a little bit of my own personal insight on the lower ratings questions. If I spent…
I think I've been erroneously assuming that MDL wanted reviews to be for completely watched dramas. If this isn't true, I can leave a review on Temperature of Love that I have some bitterness over (dropped halfway through) that needs to be released. Ha!

Seriously, I think MDL should have a specific section next to the reviews called "Dropped" where viewers could say when and why they dropped a show. This probably would give me more insight on what some of the show's issues are.

I'm horrible about dropping. You are giving them a fair shot at 4 episodes; I dump quite often at 2. So bad.

I really don't get the boring comments. I really enjoyed the drama as a whole, but maybe it's because I could…
I actually am surprised at how many "boring" comments there are. I agree with everything you wrote.

i didn't really like "introverted boss", should i watch this?
Give it a few episodes as I found it to be one of the better rom/coms that actually stays true to being a romantic comedy all the way through til the last episode. The secondary story is lovely as well. It's not going to set the world on fire but it is solid imo.
Jeana Feb 21, 2018
I try to relay the pros and cons of the drama and give insight into what the viewer should expect and if they need to lower expectations because I think hype kills drama enjoyment. The hype could be from being a rating success, a huge star comeback, or international fan hype. My rating is going to be at a certain level (almost always above 5)because I finished the drama. I don't finish dramas that I don't at least get a certain measure of enjoyment out of unless I feel absolutely betrayed by the ending. (Ok, that can happen ;)

I guess I never quite get the people who rate things a 1 or 2....I mean why watch if you don't like it at some level. I find myself ignoring ratings like that when I read other reviews even if the complaints might be totally valid. Sometimes a drama just isn't a viewers cup of tea.

I wish they would do away with music and rewatch sections of ratings. Unless the music is super annoying, I don't have much to say on this.
HappySqueak Feb 6, 2018
I still am 3 episodes shy of completing Jugglers but what I like about the androgynous character on that show is the show never really talks about it in any certain way...it's just like no big deal. One time the mom says something about having a daughter that doesn't wear dresses and that's it.

I once was joking with a co-worker about not ever cutting my hair because people would think I was a dude, and he very seriously said that my bone structure would give me away. I think it gives you away as well. And the flower boy actors who I think could get away with a gender bender get busted with their adams apple and voice. Lee Joon Gi said when promoting The King and the Clown, the director told him to just be quiet because his natural voice was so deep.

Having said all this, I have a soft spot for the gender benders just because they're fun. I don't love Coffee Prince like most do, but what worked is the gal wasn't trying to be a girl looking like a guy but rather she was what we would call a tom boy and the guy just made a mistake...most everyone else figured it out pretty quickly which is probably exactly how it would play out.
