Hmm. Quite interesting.
The blackmailer was kinda obvious to me.
It's like seeing his reflection.

However, I was confused by some things.
Like how he adamantly believed in Jiho with no room for doubts.
How he was stupid enough to go to the bar when he wanted to be careful.
How the brother knew the details of his previous breakup, like the amount of money.
Also, how and why his best friend acted that way.

This was such a beautiful love story. A pure friendship with love, sacrifice and respect😭
I cried😭

What I didn't understand was why Yeongsil decided to still confess falsely even though the punishment he and the others was going to get wasn't death. If he was still exiled or given the original punishment, was it not possible for the king's dream to still be achieved?

Anyways, an excellent acting and a good story.

Sigh. Where should I start from...
I had hopes for this. Regardless of the reviews, I decided to go for it. In as much as it may not be as badbad as the reviewers, it is not goodgood to me either.
Let me say what I can.

Let's start from the acting.
The female lead acting is bad. Facial expressions is zero. Her acting posture is bad. Her 'crying' scenes are comical. There are some scenes that requires a good amount of shocking or extremely sad expressions but nothing was delivered. I'm quite surprised cause I've seen a drama of hers and I don't think I had a complain on her acting there.

ML deserves better. He and the villians carried the show somehow. There's no chemistry between them. Let's not even talk about how she's not considerate of his feelings most times. The proposal scene was so dull. Wtf was that? And the talk about marriage having expiry dates when you're being proposed to is so....🤦 ML is so pitiful.

FL is smart and somehow act dull sometomes. There's no logical reasons, not even her son, for her actions towards her ex husband who's treated her bad, tried to kill her multiple times and a suspect for her mother's death. I know she's trying hard to revenge on him but her abtions towards him is still tolerable. Even if I'm pretending, there will still be an amount of disgust, fear, distrust and anger I'll feel towards such person. I couldn't see all those in her body language when dealing with him.

Her ability to stay mute when she's supposed to retort or say something back is also incredible. Her dialogues with her husband are weak. That's a weak writing over there. Just monotonous expressions and speechlessness, nothing else on her part.

There are also some unsatisfactory part but I don't want to go deep in there.

The manager character was also dry.

I'll say the other actors did their best too.

In summary, it wasn't too bad, but it could have been better. Maybe if it was another Female actor. The writing could have been better too.

It's a nice drama. Refreshing and healing to the characters. I like the ambience. The couples are cute too. I don't think I'll understand level of love CYP had for SD though, it was too intense and the fact that he was willing to give up plenty things for her. Damn😅
I liked the pace at which they got back together, their communication and dynamic.

There are some irks:

The AD was a real bitvh though, which the writers did more justice to her ending.

CYP's dad was insufferable. I understood his grief but I think he took it so far. 20yrs ain't little.

I feel sad for CYP cause I do think he's not loved enough and has no one to really talk to. He shouldered all his burden and worries alone.

Also, no one looks the same 10yrs ago, not to talk of 20yrs ago. It was too lazy of the director(?) not to use younger characters for the 20yrs past. If they couldn't afford that, what about using makeup to make them look younger? They all looked the same🙄

The love triangle thingy was absolutely unnecessary. They could have given SangDo more character context than that everlasting crush nonsense.

Anyways, most characters were cute. It is funny too. I enjoyed it.

Damn. Dunno what to even say or where to start from. This started off promising mehn. But there were too many variables left unexplored and unexplained. I know the budget for this ain't little, so the story execution could have been better.
I have so many questions I can't list them all. I'm just so confused. Wtf went down?

How did the monster came about? Its origin? Its aim? Soohyeon's aim for killing? What did the monster tell some of the main characters in the dark hole? Why was HW chosen? Why why why???

The stupidity of plenty characters.
The easy defeat of the monster.
The way the detective and TH seems to be inhumane because of their neverending energy. Not sure they even slept, ate or bath when others did. They were potrayed in an extraordinary way. It was unrealistic.

The shaman and her cult were annoying. I skipped most of their scenes. Let's not even talk about how feeble and stupid her followers were.

That doctor was stupid too.

I'm still surprised at how SH was found out. The character was extremely foreign and doesn't seem to have a motive for her actions nor did she match the profile of the killer that the drama had set from the beginning. I think she was discovered too plainly, considering the tension that was set over her from the beginning.

I have many more complaints but can't even remember them all.

12 episodes was too long.

A quite good acting from the actors.

Okay from the beginning but fell off. The drama had no head nor tail. Not impressed.

It's a good watch. SHS delivered as usual. However, I don't think it dealt with the bullying issue properly though. It's just a light drama. It saddens me that they can be bullies like that. And is it even possible for some of them to have a complete control of an institution? Damn.

It's a nice and interesting one. I like the actors performance especially KSH. The switch of genre was good for him and I was satisfied with his acting. I like KKW's too. They all did well😊
The movie is action packed(well done) And the cinematography is excellent. The story is okay too. I was expecting the plot twist to be more...exhilarating? But it was just okay.
Anyways, a good movie 👍

Dropped.
Really wanted to like it but I can't find myself liking the characters. I didn't like the acting too. Overacting sometimes, underacting sometimes. The camera angle sudden cuts seems weird too. Some prolonged scenes. And the damn music. The music was inserted unnecessarily in many scenes. It just seems off. I couldn't overlook the irks to enjoy it.

I really wanted to like this but I couldn't. Seems boring and helpless to me. Just had to skip to the last episodes.

Combination of both parts review.
I'll say the drama is okay. The ML is not perfect but very flawed. Sometimes, I judged him for some decisions he took in those lives but tbh, I don't think my brain capacity would have been able to do that, lol. We judged because we're watching from omniscient point of view. He wasn't perfect but he did his best.

I still couldn't understand why the connection between him and the CEO exists, it was too much of a coincidence that the CEO was involved in almost all his lives. I was starting to think he was extraordinary or the death sent to him. However, it turns out he was just a criminal. But the connection was still weird to me...

I do think the drama could have been shorter. I find some parts unnecessary. Some of his lives weren't impactful.

Now, to the main lesson. The ML was arrogant and unrepentant at the beginning and I was glad he learnt his lessons at the end. Even though, I think the last life was a cruel choice but it Indeed elevated his thinking.
However, I do think the harshness was too much.

I'm not a supporter of suicide. Sometimes, I understand them but sometimes I don't. I don't support the act but I don't think this should be the only way to discourage them. This drama should have mixed soft and hard lessons together. There should be some empathy towards the topic but it was hellbent from the beginning to the end to teach and use guilt. Some understanding and pacifying should have been dropped in there instead of just guilt from throughout.

Anyways, it did change some of my thoughts on life and death.
The actors did well 👍

Title Flex X Cop Spoiler
This is interesting. Fun. And the actors did well.
BUT I was quite unsatisfied with the villian story and roundup. The villian was obvious but there was something off about that development, couldn't place a hand on it. It was unsatisfactory to me.

The step brother is a cliché villian. His mother also influenced some of his actions. He's obviously hardhearted for doing what he did. BUT I felt like he wasn't as wicked as he's supposed to. As if the character was forced to be a villian, that was the vibe I got.

Other case solving episodes were good but the mystery about the mother's and father's death? Not so much. I think the climax build-up should have been there from at least the second half on the drama but it wasn't there. That plot was like an afterthought of the writer. One could literally watch the last two episodes and understand the whole death mystery.

There are some unrealistic plots. Like how the ML could be appointed as a detective even without licence or formal education. I understand the power show from the beginning but I was hoping he'll train officially before coming back as a cop.

I also think he's quite ungrateful and immature. He's not happy about his rich status but still, he made use of it alot and his life was somehow easier with that, albeit his sadness. So it came off as ungrateful and immature when he didn't even give his father a chance for explanation even if his father wasn't a saint.

Andddd the romance/flirting between PJY and the autopsy doctor was annoying and out of place mehn 😂 Skipped their scenes.

Anyways, apart from some of these, it was an enjoyable and light premise drama. And ABY carried. The other actors did well too. And thankfully, not an annoying FL 😊

Jisung is not an actor he is an overactor because he is always overacting!
Is this a compliment or criticism?🌝
It started off well but the last few episodes weren't just it. It was getting cliche and quite rushed? Should have stopped at 10 episodes. And their attitudes towards intimacy was annoying😑
There are many complaints I have about it but I'm not in the mindframe to list them. Started well but ended rather disappointing and chaotic.
On Lie after Lie May 30, 2024
Title Lie after Lie Spoiler
This is nice.
Although it started off rocky, I wasn't enjoying the acting from the beginning but it got better.
I wasn't expecting the murder thriller too😅

The story is quite intense and profound. The Mom lived for her daughter, she was desperate to be with her. I also liked how they addressed her method of wanting to be closer to her daughter. It was wrong and I liked how the ML dealt with his feelings first. I was also heartbroken for him. Yet, I understood the FL's desperation. Everything was addressed.

Sone characters like Semi and YJ were so annoying. The YJ character entry and his reason for being obsessed with someone he only met for a while in his childhood was ridiculous. Him challenging the ML was ridiculous. It was irritating but suddenly, they changed his character's purpose and he became better.
Same as Semi too, I understand wanting to be with her adopted daughter but I don't think what she felt was love for both of them. I think it was fear of losing her former familiarity. She has no right to be so adamant to the ML and disrupting their relationship. She's also careless and oblivious to her so called daughter's feeling. She got her own character's development too.

Lastly, the villian. The villian was quite tough and I liked that the victims dealt with her realistically. It wasn't unrealistic because she had the upper hand and her victims didn't have much connection and power. However, I think her reason for framing the FL was weak. What lies? Just because of pregnancy? It was weird, I don't think she was okay in the head. And she still painting who she killed too...

Also, I think the wedding was unnecessary. They were going through alot back then, why thinking of a wedding ceremony? Although, it developed the plot but I don't think the wedding was the right choice, lol.

The sister was also quite annoying at sometimes. I wonder why the brother didn't address her stupidity.
The child's actor makeup were also too much sometimes.
I was also wondering where the FL suddenly got money for her wardrobe change and all that.

Anyways, it was nice. It brought out feelings and you could feel the characters emotions. They love their daughter, including the whole family. I like the romance flow too. For me, it's realistic in that setting. Give it a try, it may be boring from the start, but I actually picked up. I almost dropped it too😅 but I'm glad I didn't. It's also not for everyone.
