Hmmm. Nice cast. Excellent acting and preparations. Realistic set and well edited. But the story? For such a high budget drama, the story could have been developed much better than this. It was also slow. They could have done without some scenes. I got sleepy at some point. It has so much potentials but the story ain't enough. An okay watch though 👍
Damn. That was a mind fuck. An excellent story telling! Just wow👏 Although, I suspected the real relationship between the both of them ahead👏 As for the acting: Excellent!
The drama was a one big tournament of who had it the worst. Whose misery is worse than the next person? Who should…
Exactly. It lacked depth. They wanted to throw in many things at once. Mijo had too many problems. They could have focused on CY's death but the Mijoo's problems was getting in all the time. The romance was off. No chemistry. The drama talked about death but I couldn't feel it. I couldn't feel the pain much. I don't know how to explain it. Alot of things fell off. One of the longest 12 episodes drama I've watched 🤦
They could have made this drama about Chan Young the most, if it were to be about her. But I think they tried so hard to make Mijoo the main lead. Mijoo is like a pampered kid. I'm sorry if it sounds insensitive but how could she be so insecure about her adoptive family's love towards her? For more than 20 years? It is as if they're trying to prove their love for her everyday. Bro, she was almost 40.
I also don't understand why her parents allowed her birth mother used them that way. It's not like they adopted her illegally 🤦
As for her romance with Seon U. I feel bad for him. It as if he's solving her problem every episode. He's always there for her but I don't feel that from her. She doesn't even think about him. I don't know if it is the character or the actress, I don't feel any chemistry from both of them together. YWJ tried his best but I didn't feel SYJ at all.
I'm not surprised with the dynamic between the friendship. Trio friendships is difficult to balance. There's always a closer two. It's sad to see though.
The main theme which is death. I don't know why but even though they discussed death every episodes, I don't feel it much. I didn't feel the sadness until the last episode when they invited the funeral list guests for brunch and her death.
For the acting, they were all Impressive. BUT, this could be only me. SYJ 's acting is just... She cried, alot. Turning red faced later. But I couldn't feel her sadness. I couldn't perceive the sincerity in her actions. It is obvious to me that she's acting. I don't know how to explain it. As for JMD , her acting was 🙌 KJH too. Everyone was good.
A beautiful tragedy? It's sad, that we're mostly nice when we know someone doesn't have much time with us again. Series like these are needed once in a while to bring us back to our senses. To make us more expressive and loving towards the people we care about. This just shows that no matter how we're prepared for death, it doesn't make it less painful. I felt it. Hard. Gonna go wash my tears away.
I wished there was more storyline or plot twist or so. Dunno what's lacking. It's okay and humane but I wish there was more to it. Maybe because I'm used to drama? Dunno🤔 Anyways, it was an okay watch. And this kind of roles fits Bogum.
Jung Suk's wrongdoing didnt reveal the world after all, did it??.... He died as a rightful police officer and…
Could be that or maybe because Kyungmin has received some compliments and recognitions from SM when he killed Chan young. You remember that the netizens were praising him? They could have done another in the end but I guess you're right, they probably don't want to sell that to the audience.
people saying this is realistic, are yall ok? who hurt u??
Bro, I'm flabbergasted 😭 Not all love story in our youths are nice or go the way we wants but toxic stories like this? It's pretty common but tf? It's not the reality for everyone 😭
Bro, wtf was this? On a norms, I don't like 80% situations of 'the heart wants what it wants.' Most are usually bad news. But this? This is one of the worst I've seen. I saw that they didn't end up in the webtoon, it should have been the same in the drama too. They were so annoying, tf? The first few episodes were tolerable but the second half? I was skipping most of their scenes. Let me not talk about those annoying stares. The way their eyes are glued to each other when there are in the same environment was too extreme, especially from the FL. Where's the self control? I know it is like that so we'll see the intensity of their relationship. All I see is sexual tension, infactuation and lust. The ML was selfish and manipulative. Anytime the FL seems to be distancing herself, he glues himself back again without even being in love. He distracts her over and over again. I don't even blame her. I still don't think he loves her. I read toxic love novels sometimes, and I think stories like these should stay in the books or webtoon. It's not attractive seeing it being acted, lol.
Also, why are people saying the ML made himself clear as SP? The both of them knew what they were in the first few episodes and when the started. When the ML saw that the FL fell for him, he didn't stop the relationship. Infact, she decided to stop it but he was still pursuing her, confusing her, leading her on. She left him many times, he'll still come to her. How's that being clear?? She could have at least moved on a little if he'd left her and no, he was taking advantage of her feelings for feelings that he himself wasn't even clear on. Oh please.
I was skipping their scenes from like episode 4. The only thing that kept me going was the side couples. Those were the main deals and real butterflies feelings for me. They were so lovely and sweet.
Plus, why do some people like setting themselves up for tears? The potato guy amazed me, I didn't pity him actually. He knew from the beginning who her heart belongs to but wasn't 'gonna give up.' Why have you decided to make yourself cry? Why? I don't understand characters like them. Stupid.
I would have rated it 5 but because of the side couples, gonna give it a 6. That's my max for a show like this.
Btw, why am I seeing 'realistic' everywhere? What sort of relationships are y'all getting in? Bro😭 I'm still pissed.
Jung Suk's wrongdoing didnt reveal the world after all, did it??.... He died as a rightful police officer and…
Yeah, I was disappointed with that too and how Kyung Min was just dismissed. But I think I get why they did that. In as much as JongSuk did wrong and was an hypocrite, will I say, he tried to maintain justice? Because he was the first person to stand up for Kyungmin? Because he tried to save them both by doing what he did? Dunno. I think I get why they did that but I really can't put it in words. I was so shocked that he did that Cheol. He was such an hypocrite.
Wow. I'm impressed with the writing. A good mix of friendship, love, revenge, psychological elements, sense of justice, crime, tragedy. Well written. Especially the arcs, the past and present arcs was well written and edited. I think Kim Cheol is the main character, lol. I don't know about others but I love this tragedy and the end of this drama. It was just a twisted fate. This was truly a masterpiece 👏 Impressive acting too! The teen actors were amazing!
P.s: Dunno how to feel about JongSuk being honoured, lol.
