I really enjoyed this drama. The story immediately caught my attention and kept me invested until the very end. As a psychological mystery thriller, it does an excellent job of creating a constant sense of unease. Every character makes questionable decisions, but that’s exactly the point. No one is completely innocent, and that moral ambiguity is what makes the story so intriguing.
The acting was excellent across the board. Choi Hyun-wook was a real discovery for me. I wasn’t familiar with his work before watching this drama, but his performance completely impressed me. He portrayed such a complex and layered character with confidence and subtlety, making Lee Kang both fascinating and unsettling. I’ll definitely be checking out both his previous works and his future projects after this.
The writing also deserves praise. While a few plot twists were somewhat predictable, most of them genuinely surprised me. I don’t think a handful of predictable moments should take away from the overall quality of the story. The psychological tension, the mystery, and the way everything gradually unfolds kept me engaged throughout.
The OST was another highlight. It wasn’t just background music—it elevated several scenes and made the emotional and psychological tension even more powerful.
My only criticism concerns Lee Kang’s motivation. I understand why it fits the overall narrative, and it is consistent with the character and the themes of the story. However, I personally expected something stronger. Compared to how carefully everything else was developed, his motivation felt a little underwhelming and didn’t have the same impact I was hoping for.
Overall, this is a well-written psychological mystery thriller with excellent performances, compelling characters, and an atmosphere that constantly keeps you questioning everyone’s intentions. If you enjoy stories that focus more on psychological tension and mystery than on action, I definitely recommend giving this drama a chance.
