Toni is totally owning Simon! It's amazing seeing him in a role that's different from what he normally plays. He is usually so reserved! To play a charismatic, flamboyant character is testament to his skill! James is amazing as Boo! Perfect! Pat is also great as Dr Bell! Hope to see her in other works in the future!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Happy ending, but not fairy tale! Such a perfect end to have Boo 1. not be magically healed, but is seen to be dealing with his depression with the support of his Dad and friends! 2. not get the girl, but accept her friendship! 3. finally have friends in school! 4. realise that life is to be lived! Perfect ending for his Dad to: 1. realise that there are good people who are misjudged 2. become more accepting 3. actually try to understand his son! Pity this was only 8 episodes. Would have been nice to see his Dad's turn around take a little longer than 5 seconds, but say what! This is Thai Drama all grown up! I can hope that it gets teens who are depressed to actually get help and if they do understand that it's still an uphill battle and no magic solution, but, as with Boo, help is better than an ultimate bad solution!
