Review Love O2O Spoiler
Super agreed, thank you for putting my thoughts to words. I thought the exact same watching it; what's meant to be "romantic" in this drama is factually creepy, possessive, demanding, and gross. Xiao Nai even says Wei Wei should "cook" and "do the dishes" commandingly as if it's cute or justified, and right after saying he'd let her handle the Cao Guang problem by herself, he gets involved and has a dick-measuring competition with the guy on the basketball court anyway. This kind of drivel makes people believe that some handsome rich guy is going to come into their lives with no effort and magically solve all of their problems and never have any disagreements whatsoever, instead of working on their own personalities to make them more likable to begin with; your vibe attracts your tribe. In reality, he's just another narcissist lording over his stay-at-home wife while he and his male friends do the heavy lifting. Seeing her "brilliant mind" reduced to just delivering mattresses to the guys in the company was disgusting.
