So I’m currently watching Eternal Love and It’s safe to say that i’m addicted. Obviously,I plan to watch ELOD once I’m done and i’m curious. Is it set after Eternal Love and continue the story of our side couple or do it restart their story from the beginning(before they even met)like Eternal Love never happened?

Hi guys. I could use your help. I'm not very familiar with chinese dramas and I'm a bit confused with all the spin-offs and parents stories this drama has. I first came across Eternal Dream of Love and I'm wondering if they're all connected but can be watched in any order or if i have to watch it in a specific order. If not, should I start with this one or is there a better suited one for a beginner like me? I'm mostly interested in long adventure/historical fantasy(or not) chinese dramas. Thanks in advance!
