Yeah I think people feel like they are superior if they dislike something everyone else likes, like they have…
Exactly! I am not saying the actors are serving acting chops left and right but they are actually doing pretty well as their characters whatever is required for this drama. And He's a great fit as Grand Prince Yi an here.

Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency

A drama of 2019 where the actress playing Queen mother was fl and BWS was a 3rd male lead or so.

Funny she ends up marrying the king of joseon there as well 😹

It’s kind of hilarious coz a few years ago, everyone was defending his psychotic serial killer character from "strong woman namsoon", claiming both the actor and the role 'deserved better.' Now that he’s playing the romantic lead, those same people are dissing him. I guess some fans only support you when you’re an underrated gem; once your popularity spirals out of control, they just can’t digest it.

After the first episode, I feel I'm up for this ride. I do get the mixed feelings and that the premiere didn't live up to its hype. But I have a feeling that this is the type of drama that gets better with each episode. Honestly, I would rather watch a drama that slowly grows on me than watch a show that has me hooked for the first couple of episodes and then fizzles out in the later part (yes, Dynamite Kiss, I'm looking at you)

Title Dynamite Kiss Spoiler
I never felt Da Rim owes anyone any explanation. Yes, lying for a job is unethical and if get caught, she could…
Yes, this I agree. She used Seonu without letting him know but Seonu had the choice to go ahead with it or stay put. We all tend to take such advantage of our friends sometimes. I am sure she would feel terrible if she comes to know Seonu might possibly helping her harboring romantic feelings rather than helping her out of their platonic bond. But now SU is the one who is clearly using this fake setup to his advantage and happy to be playing house with her when she's clueless and thinks he's the same old friend helping her out of goodwill.

A kind reminder as to why Da Rim lied (and even now is so hesitant to tell the truth). https://x.com/ftohan1708/status/1993001200808313013?s=20PS:…
I never felt Da Rim owes anyone any explanation. Yes, lying for a job is unethical and if get caught, she could ruin her career altogether but desperate times asks for desperate measures. Also which company hire an employee without doing complete background verification? Lol. But hey it's a kdrama so real life scenarios are strictly non applicable. Anyways coming back to Da Rim, I actually empathise with her along with Jihyeok. They both are struggling in their own ways. As her childhood friend who has seen her struggling all her life, this Seon U is not making it any easier other than complicating things for her. I am sure if she has any idea about JH's struggles even in the slightest, she's going to come clean to him. (Which the next episode is also hinting at)

i just hope they don't drag this confusion too by making SML say to ML that the kid is from his first marriage…
Is it normal for a step kid to call his step mom as Auntie?

And atp JH can directly hire an investigator to do a background check on her.

Seon U is the most manipulative jerk. Not only he's a coward but he's intentionally sabotaging it for the main leads eventhough he clearly sees both of them having feelings for each other.

Thissss. The clear difference between genuine love and just having abandonment issues. Darim has somehow acted as a safe net to both Seon U and his son. It was convenient as long as there was not another person in her life. Now if anyone who's taking the advantage of this situation then it's definitely Seon U. Just like someone has mentioned earlier, Darim didn’t have stress induced gastritis until Seon U joined her workplace. She's more stressed with him around and trying to keep up with the act. I can't imagine how she'd feel when she gets to know about his feelings.

usually, we humans don’t tend to value things we have unless we’re on the verge of losing them or have already…
Yes,I get it but that's what annoys me lol. Infact I would have preferred it if they kept it as completely platonic bond that would have been more refreshing.

Am I the only one who dislikes the SML? I get that he didn’t act on his feelings because he didn’t want to lose her as a friend, but what’s with him acting all possessive now that Jihyeok is in the picture? And why is he suddenly trying to behave like her husband: not out of genuine concern, but just to be territorial?

I honestly hate such tropes. Apart from this, I’m absolutely loving everything about the drama, especially Jihyeok. I was a bit afraid they were going to make the whole affair scenario comical since it’s a rom-com, but there’s a clear shift in tone in episode 6. JH being torn about whether he should expose her cheating husband (given how his mom is still suffering because of it), and him trying to suppress his own feelings because he doesn’t want to be a homewrecker 😭💔

I really hope Darim somehow comes clean in front of him by episode 8 🤧
