I finally watched this and the director claimed this is his own original idea but its clearly a copy of Kaiji with elements from As the Gods Will. Kaiji was a manga published in 1996 which was highly popular and its been adapted into an anime and live action movies, the recent one being a chinese remake titled Animal World (2018). Anyone that's read/watched Kaiji can see the plagiarism outright. If you haven't watched the Japanese movies then you will find this show enjoyable but honestly there are actually much better drama's than this one and they deserve to be more popular like Sweet Home, Strangers from Hell, Vagabond, so for me this show was completely overrated. Lastly whether or not you like this show I recommend you check out Alice in Borderland.

Great show but it could have used 1 more episode because in the last 2 episodes some scenes were rushed. Even though we got a happy ending, a little more closure would have been nice.

Synopsis had me at the word alien!

Awesome they are turning the manhua into a tv show. I hope it actually air's this year.
