I remember Island's comment was just like this before air. People were complaining why cha eun woo is along with such experienced actors, his acting sucks and all. Now after the show is done they all be like - "only watched/completed this show because of him".
do you all think the hostage situation is going to continue until the end of the series? honestly idk how they…
To be honest, I feel a movie or an eight-ep drama would have sufficed to depict this issue if this is gonna go till the end. I really don't want this to go on, and the fact that the second-half is still left I think the writer won't make us show such a basic storyline. I've expectations from the writer to show us something new lol.
It's a shame that the script didn't have the intelligence to know the dimension of the story it was dealing with.…
Because you didn't share the link from where you copy-pasted this thing so just replying here. Smh just tired of YOM comparisons with snowdrop. Why to compare YOM with this when they have nothing in common except the timeline? This drama DOES NOT revolve around gwangju uprising or pro-democratic protests unlike the other one. Why is it so hard to understand? Knetz didn't have any problem with YOM because it showed the struggles during those times whereas this one just mentions pro-democratic protests here and then as the plot is totally different, fictional and doesn't focus on the struggles and protests. As simple as that.
what do you mean ?? this drama was banned ?? or what
The lead actress -Part hye soo got embroiled in a bullying controversy due to which the premiere got postponed and there is still no news about it if it's canceled or not...
Now I am curious if red sleeve is that good.Even for public broadcasting the ratings are good.Don't recognize…
In sokor people generally prefer makjangs and historical drama more than these ones that's why mostly these genres crossed the double number viewership. Youth of may which is somewhat similar snowdrop got an average viewership of 4 something. And I think that is not even available on any OTT platform. Moreover the cast of TRS is reputable in south korea or it just might be an age group thing as young people prefer to watch things on OTT platforms.
Am I the only one who noticed Soo ho's eyes got teary in the last moment of episode 7 when young ro asked if he…
Yeah even I saw that and I think we are yet to see things from soo ho's pov and whenever his scenes come with young ro, mostly they show his back and never his face lol. Idk if it's cinematography or what, but we can't clearly see his expressions which I think they might show us later.
How is that a stockholm syndrome tho she had feelings for him before the situation...
Yeah, I think everything Soo Ho is doing is because of the situation, which is obviously incorrect, but it's his country's principles and values that he was taught.
How is that a stockholm syndrome tho she had feelings for him before the situation...
Yeah that's what I believe as well, they will eventually show him in a good light and she will again help him to get out and that's how romance plot will develop because right now I don't think there's any hope for romance in this situation when both are pointing guns at each other. And the glances she's showing is more like of a 'traitor' than being in love.
How is that a stockholm syndrome tho she had feelings for him before the situation...
Yeah that's why I think her response is valid because she is also not simping over him like she did before neither did they show that she is still in love or sympathize with him. She is trying everything she could to get the people out and that's how it should be.
This is soon entering Stockholm-ish territory though. Yeong-Ro should immediately seek therapy after this, should…
I would rather not call it a Stockholm as here the case is kind of opposite, she fell in love with him at first sight and then when she got to know about him she fell out of love(from what we can see till now). Let's see how it goes, from what the preview tells, they are trying to show the nk spies in a good light and the political people in bad, so she will again help soo ho to escape as written in the synopsis.
Nah.. It would have been better without any controversies. This drama had so much hype but bcoz of controversies…
The controversy piqued people's interest, prompting them to learn about Korean history as well as begin watching the drama. And it still has the 'hype', that's why it got #20,000+ watchers. Yes, many things got messed up, but after SWD's statement i guess everything will be back to normal.
No I think this drama would have been much better without this controversy,It was a bad publicity for me
It's only episode 5 rn... Except for a few haters who are saying things merely for the sake of saying them, everyone's views will change after the SWD court's announcement. All of the hate comments on Korean articles have now vanished, and now I can only see people demanding apologies from all of the petitioners. That's how it always work.
All publicity is good publicity... The chaos didn't do nothing but created more interest among people (including me lol) to start this drama. And I don't regret starting it because it's actually interesting lol.
Why are there 3 episodes this week? It says that episode 3 is today, episode 4 is tomorrow and episode 5 is sunday.
To 'ease' some viewers' concerns over the drama, jtbc decided to air 3 episodes this week. They basically asking to wait and see how the narrative plays out.
