I see where you're getting at with Naruto. It's ultimately up to the viewer.

I have the same opinion as you regarding Nodame Cantabile. I am still unsure on whether to watch this or not.

Thanks for your recommendations :) I'll take a look at them. Hmmm....Ano Hana. Gonna look that one up. I'm no expert on anime too. I just watch what interests me.

I'm thinking of starting Bedevilled tomorrow. It's a gory, unsettled film. One that I am looking forward to.

The second half is the tragic, romantic, and more heavily, the power of friendship when compared to the first half.

I was meaning to watch the Host for a long time. However, when it was released with the trailer, I thought it was the coolest, and most interesting movie for that year. I found out it was South Korean and I had to wait for the subtitles to be released. Luckily, I can watch the movie since it's on my PTW list.

I notice that you're watching Live in Style. How is this drama? Is it interesting enough for a recommendation? I'll be watching Bedevilled tomorrow. It's gonna be a gory, twisted, and tragic movie. Here's the IMDB link for the film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1646959/

Do you pay hefty price as an international student in Australia? As I know international students personally, they say, a degree/diploma is highly recognized from their country. Is it true?

Oh yes, I just forgot that you're an international student in Australia. This is the same requirements in Canada. Most employers are reluctant to employ international students. However, universities and colleges are more willing to lure international students in for employment since the education system loves makin' a profit. By attracting these students, it would have a positive impact to bring in more international students for years to come. What money-makers.

I watched Kimi ni Love Song wo last night and I thought it was a short, simple film with a deeper meaning. Lessons learned within the film: Live your life to the fullest & Love is blind and unique not always long-lasting. The synopsis is lacking on the MDL page because the story is not complicated and easy to understand what is going on. The first half was a drama, friendship, and romantic part of the story.

Yes, I started watching Naruto. How I missed this anime! It's one of my very first animes that I've watched and fell in love with. Naruto Season 1-5 has 220 episodes in total. Naruto Shippunden (this ongoing) has 324 episodes and still going. Why I like it? The plot overall is extremely interesting. The character development is very unique and well-built. Each episode is filled with excitement and an urging to see what is going to happen next. If you enjoy a slice of life ninja show with action-packed, fighting scenes, neat fighting techniques, backstories, you'll like this one especially if you're a Pokemon fan. Many believe that Naruto is the second generation of Naruto. Pokemon is aimed at 9-11 yrs. old and Naruto is for 13-16 yrs. old. Some also think it's overrated.

Before Naruto, I watched a lot of Pokemon.
I haven't watched Monster but I believe it's on my PTW list.

I will :) I just started Kimi ni Love Song wo. It's a little over a hour length movie. Especially for this month, I am not enjoying having to watch a tragic film after another. However, if I look at the bright side, it's only for a month and next month genre is Athletic. Looking forward to it :) Btw, I started watching Naruto anime for the second time lol.

How's job searching coming along? Is unemployment rate high in Australia?
It seems that we're opposite when it comes to "who cries while watching films/dramas".
I love challenges. It keeps me on my feet and motivated. Lately, I have been quite busy with schoolwork yet it takes most of my time. I'm gonna start Kimi ni Love Song tonight however I finshed Koizora: The Movie. TBH, it was a very tragic film. The teenage girl has endured plenty from her high school life. It's incredible how many things can go wrong when you're a young person. It never occurred to me. I guess this film opened my mind in some areas especially dealing with difficult issues ex. bullying, rape, miscarriage, teenage pregnancy, serious illness.

To find the movies for the tragic genre, it was quite simple. However, these movies aren't the best rated. The athletic genre was more difficult to find.

How's drama watching coming along? Any jems that you've found along the way?
The Hana Yori Dango is the most typical "rich boy, poor girl" story and the most popular. Definitely, it's a drug. You try "The Woman who still wants to marry" and "In Time With You". There are both dramas with 30-something women. The one drama is an age-gap relationship, the other is the best friend turned lover relationship.

Have you had time to update your movie of the month for June? I am interested to see what will you choose for June. :) How's Greatest Love coming along? I see that you are mediocre with it. I absolutely agree w/ you. It's not a star drama. However, it was popular in the year it was airing.

Hi unnie!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately, I haven't even celebrated my birthday due to overwhelming amount of school work and the semester is almost over within a month. I am not surprised that I am terribly busy.

The Disney version is pure escapism like you've mentioned. When you did get a chance, please do watch it. I recommend it. :)

What is Goodreads? I'm glad that I didn't started 50 shades of grey. Currently, I don't hear the hype no more. It became non-existant. It was one hit wonder. I believe the author may have issues within the future if she decides to continue 50 shades of grey. I rather her not.

I just finished Koizora: The Movie earlier this week. I enjoyed the tragedy but the challenge itself will be an 'actual' challenge for this month for me. I think I'll start Kimi ni Love Song. It's a short-length film (a little over a hour).

I'm currently doing a tragedy monthly movie challenge and starting to watch this short film, Kimi ni Love Song wo. I haven't started it. As well, I just started watching Naruto in english subs series. This is my second time watching it.

Yeah, I love it when people are straight forward with their thoughts. It's something I value in people. I read some of your points and tend to agree with you. Until I read a lot of perspectives on this event, it definitely was a highlight of my day
