5GB is nothing. I guess I'm lucky. I guess you must find other hobbies in order to keep you entertained or work maybe?
Yes, I can still watch older films. I don't mind as long as the film has a strong plot with outstanding performances by the actor/actress.
The movie is definitely a tragic story. However, I did not cry during this movie but I am not a "crier" myself. It wasn't a very sad story compared to A Moment to Remember.
I decided to watch monthly movie challenges when I was interested in producing my own challenge back in the end of April. I found out that there are yearly challenge but no monthly movie challenges. I wanted to choose genres that I wouldn't be inclined to watching like Mature, tragedy, sports, horrors. I like psychological-thrillers mainly. Since then, I already decided the genres for the movies in the end of April.

Np. I'll definitely let you know at the end of July. So far, Mulan is my top film with a 10 and my first for the challenge this month. I'll look through your articles on MDL later on. For now, I am just winging month to month by using my PTW list for movie selections. Go ahead. Store your articles on your profile page. I do that so I can reference the article occasionally and not go through a hassle to find it on MDL.

I'm glad my profile page is amusing. :) I like to try a bit of everything and not afraid of trying new genres, as well. I wish there are Malaysian and Thai dramas on here. However, I am content with what there is.
Recently, I steered away from watching dramas and sticking to movies for now. I'm currently watching MARS but I'm facing difficulties with continuing it. It's not clicking with me despite of all the amazing reviews.
I watched The Quiz Show, White Christmas, and Mirai Nikki for the psychological-thriller challenge. Surprisingly, these dramas is what I enjoyed the most. Any dramas that you watched recently?

Np. I believe I'm fun at times and ordinary too. I think I watched a reasonable amount of dramas and movies to set a standard in what I expect in films/dramas. I see that you watched quite a few Rich Man, Poor girls type of film. Do you like this type of genre?
I believe you should watch some popular dramas at first to get a decent opinion in what you enjoy watching.
I recommended the psychological-thriller, Liar Game, the romantic-tragic, Autumn's Concerto, the psychological-school drama, White Christmas, the famous actor, Lee Seung Gi in Kings2Hearts, the romantic Rich CEO, poor actress, Secret Garden, the tragic-illness drama, One Litre of Tears, the famous Japanese gender-bender school drama, Hana Kimi, the pop idol/romantic drama, You're Beautiful, the tragic, romantic gangster turned lover, That Winter the wind blows, the tragic, romantic, lesson learning, and 49 days.

I believe my rating was reasonable for the film.
I haven't read Shades yet. This year, my co-workers brought the book to work and read it on their breaks. I was curious enough to read the synopsis but other than it, I am not a popular books especially made for young teenaged girls. Usually, these types of books are uninteresting and a mishap. I tend to steer away from popular genre (in my opinion). Shallow, a little.
Maybe, I might give a film a try. I'll see.
Recently, I watched Mulan. The words that I can describe it as. Unparalleled. Realistic. Believable. Stayed consistent. Nevertheless, I expected the film to be more similar to Disney. I was definitely wronged. Not sure if you have seen it?
Now, I'm moving to Koizora: The Movie. I heard it's another excellent tragedy. I'm excited to see this one :)

I'm doing good, unnie.:) No worries. Life gets in the way. I'm very understanding. So, you must hit a slump similarly to a couple months me. I've been on MDL almost all day because of Canada's Day and it's dark, gloomy, and rainy.
I honestly forgot that you recommended me Oasis. Since watching every film for the challenge the previous month, I always had a vision of who recommended me this movie for my PTW list. Some I guess correctly and some, I did not manage to figure out for ex. The Oasis. I did remember that you recommended me 3-Iron. Oh my. Short memory. Like in my review, Oasis won me in the challenge last month. It's a film that truly moved me.
Finding Mr. Destiny. That film I was very disappointed with Gong Yoo's acting. The film itself was confusing and not much substance lie within it. The ending was a typical fairytale and predictable. Not impressed.

Internet limits. I used to have this but the household changed the internet provider into unlimited and also for an inexpensive price. Luckily, I can be on this Internet for days and days. Not tryin' to rub it. lol
Thanks for the light novels link. I'll read it on my breaks during summer school. Lookin' forward to it.
Lol July will be a tragedy. Yeah, I'll be in tears for 31 days until I move to sports movie in August. There's quite a few older films from 1980's-1990's. It's gonna be an interesting watch.
Mulan is a film that I watched yesterday night. It was outstanding and the actors/actresses' performances were phenomenal and well-done (IMO). The story much differ from the Disney's Mulan plot. The story is more believable and realistic plus plenty of war scenes. Definitely, it's a masterpiece in my eyes.
Thanks to this movie! My Disney fairytale went down the drain. I really enjoyed it! It's like putting Alexander the Great into a Disney fairytale then havin' an actual movie with historical events.
Korean actors over 30 years are the finest looking in my opinion. Manly, hot, and non-flower boy-ish (in the most part)

For now, when I feel like watching MARS, I'll marathon it. The other Taiwanese dramas like Office Girls, Miss Rose, Autumn's Concerto were alright. Taiwanese dramas don't seem to click with me except Autumn's Concerto.
Check out my new list of movies for July Monthly Movie Challenge-Tragedy. It's an interesting one!

Thank you. Let me know when you get around to watching Oasis.
Hmmm..Daisuki. It sounds like a drama that I would enjoy watching. Meaningful and moving. I look forward to it.
I am still in movie phase with the challenges. I enjoyed Oasis, 3-Iron, and A Moment to Remember the most.
For July, I am doing Tragedy-genre for the Monthly Movie Challenge. There is going to be a mix of older (1970's-1990's) and latest movie. So, this month will be interesting.
MARS drama isn't quite hooking me up. Lately, I've been having trouble watching it since it started to become uninteresting and a little boring to watch. Gotta power thru :)

Oh, right. I know Miura Haruma in Last Cinderella. He's pretty good, I'll say.
Mars is iffy with me. Sometimes, it grasps my attention and sometimes it doesn't. However, I'll be working on it in July. I'm on episode 8 now.
For One Perfect Day, it's only available for youtube for some particular reason. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQZEliPEnLs or type in One Perfect Day and the first link (34 mins.) is the film.
(alternate name: Rock Paper Scissors of Love)
Yeah, Perfect Match is too simple for me and to the point where I am completely uninterested and can easily predict what's coming next. However, it's a great stress-relief movie and a easy movie for a Saturday night.
First Time, I gave it a 7. It was a decent movie to watch through but it's one of those illness movies that isn't its best when compared to A Moment to Remember.

Thank you. This film took me a lot of time from the beginning to watch it. Since I watched the beginning carefully, I slowly began to love the film for the way it is. It's not easy to depict the plot quickly but it needs a lot of your patience. I'm glad that you agree with me! :)

Check out my review for Oasis. Sometimes, it was hard to watch but I really enjoyed it once it hit almost halfway. It moved me and I was shocked that the rating is quite low (in my opinion). I'm glad I took the patience to watch this amazing film about an ongoing issue that is still evident within society.
