I don't appreciate face slaps especially outside of family members. Like it's not okay. It's physical violence and I don't know about employment law in Korea but it's clearly shows that it is 'still' okay to slap women for not doing so or so or just for anger purposes Those examples you've shown are in Marriage, not dating and Falling for Innocence and Angry Mom.
Another one that angers me is in Hana Yori Dango (the anime version). The main girl literally accepts the rape scene with Tsukasa afterwards due to his background since he is in love with her and jealous also. I hate this attempt to 'fix' the bad boy and why us, girls love the ultimate bad boy where he barely has any good qualities. Literally, Tsukasa is like an uncontrollable animal. Not only that there is a gang rape scene and the whole patriarchal society....Come on, Hana Yori Dango is like a classic but it shows the weak, shy girl vs. the strong, bad-tempered guy. Tsukushi should not even have taken Tsukasa as a love interest. He is too abusive! Is he really gonna change for the better? Likely not!
My mom and I think this show is going to be the bomb. I told my mom....imagine if you had to go back to school, would you feel the same like the main lead?
I feel bad for yoon ha. I feel like joon ki is just using her bc shes rich.
Wouldn't it be more interesting to have Joon Ki realize that being a part of a high society is no different where you are now. Then, having him find that out while becoming friends with Yoon Ha and help her with her troubled family and her poor relationships with her family. Yoon Ha learns how important family is and learn to build a better solid connection between her mom, dad, and sister and Joon Ki learn to embrace life with what you have now and not to be greedy and jealous of those who have more than you. After this, focus on the second leads relationship and that's where the romance comes in. Let's face it. The second leads have the chemistry going!
I'll watch it regardless of how good or bad it is. It's typical of Americans remaking more Eastern movies/shows/series etc. Presumably, it may be easier for them to take a storyline from a foreign country that was a hit and make it a hit in North America. We already know the stats behind this one. If we left the original storyline, actors/actresses, etc. and view this show to Americans, it won't be as glorified as it is in the East. Cultural differences, language, style, etc. Unfortuntately, remakes are the way to go to entice North Americans into watching a remake show that's based on a story from Asia. Money is money. Selling something that isn't gonna make the cut is not worth putting in the market at all....Let's all cross our fingers that this show is almost as good as the original or better!
Great Idea. I hope you have an app in the making for MDL. Imagine having the ease to update your dramalist from a click of an app. That's something I look forward to.

No worries! I'm terrible myself.
I haven't been watching anything lately. Zippo.
Due to the fact, I've been job searching, studying for finals, and had complications with the new man who isn't my man anymore. I'm just happy being single and appreciating living my life with amazing friends and inspiring goals. I've had enough with not finding a 'proper' relationship. So, I've decided not bother looking for one.
For example, I didn't know you like LeeSooJin and the major turnoffs surprised me too: angry ahjumma and meddling parents.
That's what I learned.
