wait... why did the last frame say that daechi high isn't hiring anyone this year?
From my understanding it might due the fact Ha Neul's uncle confessed to his relation even though she got in by her own since they mentioned external auditing which would impact school credibility, like when they couldn't accept Hae Won as full time since he scored less than other applicants tho he worked 6 years as part time
Battle Royal is iconic no doubt, a miss would't get a remake or inspire other creators to create something similar, such as The Hunger Games and The Belko Experiment. its sequel wasn't bad for a horror sequel Not a fan of Gore because this genre is just usually gross, but BR succeeded in making it actually scary from the physiological aspect.
The dynamic between the characters are interesting and they did great in tackling different issues each episode without dragging one like majority of dramas. They were able to deliver how much crazy pressure kids go through to be accepted, losing 4 marks in one subject lessen the probability in being accepted in medical university. There's low key a love triangle similar to Misaeng's Geu Rae, Young Yi and Baek Ki the whole banana incident was very entertaining That ending tho LOL
In my opinion Japanese 2005 adoption still the best. The Taiwanese 2001 was good but didn't have memorable characters same as JP & SK, I think maybe because the story was different there, but still great in its own way. And the worse one is 2018 Chines adoption which taken product replacement to a whole another level LOL and dragging the story with 50 episode going nowhere. This adoption was great mostly for the cast, because I've watched it while it was airing and it was different at the time, maybe being sentimental, in addition it was the biggest gateway for K/Asian drama fans that's why it's considered iconic
From the plot I'm getting Misaeng 2014 and Live 2018 vibes tvN are pretty good in producing those types of dramas which reflect the human struggle in workplace which many like me finds it entertaining rather than another unrealistic generic OTT cliches
3 episodes left and it's not clear why in 1st episode (present) CDG was pointing the weapon at Hae Ri while being angry. Edward Park played them all, his assistance probably is the sniper who was shooting at Lily last episode and the one who killed vic president and made it as suicide after sleeping with him. co-pilot knew it and didn't say anything about her identity on the boat, now he will regret it lol The guy with a scar (Jerome?) story-line confuses me, he said something about fixing his image but end up kind helping Edward Park, it might be his twin... just kidding
Something about the time that goes by in comic/drama compared to real world. rom-com school comic usually takes years in real world (depends how successful) for a story that was set within 3 years and a bonus chapter/s of the future. There's no such things as "growing up", childhood "memories" are used as flashbacks which aren't even real in case of this drama. For example, Kimi ni Todoke events in the story were like for 3 years, but the manga been published for 11 years Wonder how many years these characters been in this story, guess not much based on the events 1st episodes events
I like how relevant Dan Oh character is, she doesn't care about love interest but to save herself. In typical rom-com comic or even drama Dan Oh (supporting) would've ended up with Baek Kyung (male lead friend) but I'm rooting for Ha Ru I love how woke characters commenting on mains Nam Joo and Joo Da being cringe all the time LOL. my guess that Do Hwa (2nd ML) will end up with Joo Da as not so common ending.
Theory: What if Haru's character was a comic artist who hurt his hand and wasn't able to draw again so end up inside a story where he can
Had the same tough first time I read it LoL.It was probably translated from the korean synopsis and lost the real…
I think the reason why Hae Ri doesn't like her job is the fact her father saved 8 men, died (I think) and she had to take care of her mother and younger brother, it sound like the family wasn't even compensated for what happened to her father, or there was more to his story which might include some kind of betrayal by the same agency considering her whole agency is corrupted except for like 3 other people. Agree, it was unrealistic for one stuntman being able to get away (kinda) from 10+ NIS agents
Just watched episode 5 Hae Ri carried the episode on her back, what a badass her whole organisation is corrupted, but it didn't stop her from keeping instigating, risking the livelihood of her family and even their safety considering the once they're dealing with are evil. Went and saved the ML who insulted her even tho it's not her fault and gave him a recording prove it was an attack not an accident. what a queen Dal Gun is stupid enough to open the door for a stranger offering food after literally saying 2 minutes ago that they're trying to kill him and threaten their boss LOL
Daebak!! episode 10 fighting scene!! What an ending!! I had suspicions that Moon Jo has a split identity of Jong Woo, but it won't explain the fact there are pictures of MJ, murders by him happened before JW moved to Eden and Jung Hwa meeting him in clinic. In Korean comic one of the alive twins actually tried to get Moon Jo by hitting him in the head but fails.
Been a fan of Kim Hye Yoon since SKY Castle her character is refreshing and really suit her I really liked the concept of breaking 4th wall and how she processed it, but it could've been better since she was questioning her and everyone's existence. Maybe there would be a build up to that breaking point Didn't read the webtoon but found it fun to watch
It was a great realistic drama ended up in similar note. Glad So Min x Min Joon got married, I would pay for a spin-off drama about their daily life, same about Eun Jung x director. It made sense that HHJ x CJH didn't end up together, but the fact Jae Hoon will return to his toxic abusive ex girlfriend after years (15 episodes) to finally break up is just messed up. And was hopping to see more of Han Joo's son and his relationship with his father, but guess since the drama focus more on individual adult feelings and love life. This drama reminded me as cheesy as it sounds, to not to waste energy and time regretting the past, move on and focus on present.
I'd love to know how they met and how their "organization" was founded. We already got a clue that the old lady…
Yeah, their origin story and how they became what they're today would be so interesting. There was a photo of old lady and Moon Jo in prev episode, MJ must've discovered they have similar tendencies like when he sensed Jong Woo's.
Noticed that most main lead are entitled rich brats with a bad boy act who are possessive of female lead, treat her badly at beginning as something cute and expected us viewers to be ok with it because she chooses him at the end like- A male lead who's expected in story line to be "fixed" by female lead, such as Boys Over Flowers's Joon Pyo who's started as bully who tried to buy her out or Cheese in the Trap's Yoo Jung who's manipulative literally would send someone to ICU isn't that bad. while second male lead usually having feelings for long time but never confess till too late.
Love Alarm has an actual example for a second male lead who wouldn't act selfishly till he got screwed by male lead who's like a brother to him, unlike the main lead who was a creep and broke bro code 1st knowing 2nd male lead had feelings for female lead just to spite him
so many emotions
