Aki returned to her parents who seemed to be the type who only cares about child being successful in school, she's grown up and can handle herself but my guess she will run away again. Can't believe there's 2 episodes left I noticed some plot holes that might be a result of the 16 to 20 thing like Seung Hye giving the detectives a statement about HyNa & Woo Joo fight to protect her own daughter SeRi who actually have a criminal record (she was at play). Or the grandmother acting like she doesn't know HyNa when she called in episode 17 but early episode 15 (I think) in the restaurant she was there when Seo Jin mentioned HyNa's incident. And Seo Jin heated confrontation with Coach Kim about her past, threatening her to stay away from Ye Seo and firing her 2nd time in episode 14 (I think) but SOMEHOW after time skip she acted like nothing happened. And it's weird that Seri got away with it even tho there were witness for her fight with HyNa, but no witness for their reconciliation or alibi (just her word).
Thoughts about Han Seo Jin / Kwak Mi Huang character after episode 18
At first I thought Seo Jin wanting her daughter to enter medical school was because she wanted her mother in law validation. But now after seeing how she confronted her on the phone about Prof Kang mess & the grandmother/father showdown, it seems her ambitions for her daughter is much deeper than that considering her past (dead mother, poor family & abusive father) since also the situation changed and Ye Seo WHOLE future on the line not just medical school. I think SJ doesn't want other people to see Ye Seo lowly & be downgraded like her for not being enough, since in South Korea a person is valued & judged harshly by how they look & what university they went too.
Can't believe Prof Kang STILL put all the burden of parenting on his wife after what happened to HyNa even tho Ye Seo look up to him & the main reason why she genuinely wants to be a doctor.
SeRi went fast from badass to ungrateful child, she really called her father a failure (as a person) when he saved her from time in jail for her poor life choices & trusted her by sending tuition (probably thousands) to her bank account while she spent the money to go to the club.
