1st of all I don't see Soo Jung as a partner (romantically?) in other word I don't view her as a love interest when she's more than that as a charecture .
what makes (present) Soo Jung insecure as a person?!

Don't get it twisted, Se Ho was the one who promoted her from part to full time job when she's supposed to get it rightfully in 1st because of her hard work like doing other teachers tasks, doing teacher consultant work when none of others is doing it while getting the position with bribery.

He actually had a 2nd chance to continue his LAST 1 year at least to make his mother happy but did NOT care about studying (bad marks) or attend class (episode 11-12), it was HIS choice. Did you even watch the episodes?!

Bok Soo's dream was to be Soo Jung's BoYfRiEnD
his two best friends had their high school diploma but STILL as the same position as him

It's like the 1st rom-com drama in a while where I don't really care about shipping.
I feel after the time skip, Soo Jung grow more as a person
she became the teacher that didn't exist for her, Bok Soo and even See Ho
saved a student from suicide attempt, put her full-time job at risk for another student, kept doing her job as school consultant and went after working hours to help another student.
Unlike Bok Soo (present) who wouldn't help any stranger even if they were dying unless if he was paid, didn't care about attending class after getting his 2nd chance (wanted to quite without considering his mother's feeling) and kept chasing trouble knowing it would get SJ lose her job which she worked too hard for it.

She's currently driving Ye Seo crazy
in next episode preview she helped Ye Bin in getting good grades
while Ye Seo is losing hers
She might try to hurt the rest of them so her bio father gets hurt
tho he doesn't really care about them, just about their grades and achievements

WOW, now Min Ji stalking Bok Soo for 9 years with one sided love is so powerful representation as a women while Soo Jung who grow to be a great teacher that support, believe in her students and put her full-time job on the line isn't while considering her just a love interest

How can't he not pay attention for the reason that got Soo Jung bullied, her own "friends" flipped on her and for Se Ho's odd behavior?!
They would tell him if they felt sorry/pity for them like what Soo Jung heard from BOTH of her "friends" who turned on her and Bok Soo (too much betrayal in short amount of time) moments before seeing Se Ho failing who she still close to since Bok Soo SILTT didn't tell her about his lies.

Soo Jung statement was based on what she HEARD not what she SAW and there was teacher who didn't really do much. For saving Bok Soo she had to lie about it.

There are some events between past and present contradict themselves

9-10 (present) Bok Soo acted like he just figured out that Se Ho likes Soo Jung after seeing his drawing.
11-12 (past) Soo Jung's bullies told Bok Soo that Se Ho likes Soo Jung

3-4 I think (present) Bok Soo was accepted by his old school while mentioning legal act that allow him to continue his studies.
11-12 (past) His mother/sister said: ’He's a problem student, so no school will take him.’

Many kept saying why Soo Jung didn't confront Bok Soo before
while none said about Bok Soo not confronting her about Se Ho's lies which started the whole time.

No, everything happened the same day, she was bullied then overheard him saying he feels sorry for her while feeling betrayed, then See Ho asking for help. Bok Soo went downstairs after Se Ho's fall without talking to her, then she gave her statement without lying and later on wished she did then went to his house overheard his family arguing but felt ashamed to enter to confront them. In current time she apologized and Bok Soo STILL didn't tell her about Se Ho's lies.

His guy friends and Min Ji who wasted 9 years of her life following him got their diploma but their situation ain't any better than Bok Soo who currently doesn't want to continue his 1 year studies and apparently his dream wasn't even to have job but to be Soo Jung's boyfriend SMH

It really taken 9 years for Bok Soo to figure out that Se Ho have feelings toward Soo Jung.

I don't know if adults in Korea who wants to continue their studies take nigh class (it's just in my country)
since they're developed and have rights, typically they would've granted free education for everyone and to someone like Bok Soo

Soo Jung saved Bok Soo from getting expelled again and suggested volunteer work
as suitable punishment for damaging school property and being dangerous student (breaking glass that way might hurt Oh Young-Min) while risking her full time job which she just got & many would kill for it by taking responsibility if Bok Su causes trouble again.
Soo Jung didn't just save Bok Soo, she started to try and change her school wrong ideals

It doesn't seem it was on his record since none of current teachers or even media know about his past except the once who are involved (it might have to do with him being a minor).

it's about the amount of negative energy toward Soo Jung compared
to the barley/non existing toward Se Ho, hell I saw some thirsting over

And no one is criticizing Bok Soo for CHOOSING not to continue his studies the last 9 years when he could've.

Personally, I would sided for keeping my permanent job over a guy who could continued his studies anytime within the last 9 years but decided not to, no shade LMFO
