4 eps in and the only thing that’s happened is the girl messing stuff up and crying over her mom... Her whole character is a just a weak girl that needs help with everything. There’s even a scene in ep 4 where she can’t get in the car by herself because of a slightly sprained ankle. Which by itself wouldn’t really stick out to me, but the way everything she does she needs help with makes the whole thing cringy. I understand there doing it because she a “rich girl” that can’t do anything by herself, but there’s a limit to uselessness. The male lead is pretty interesting, but not enough so that it makes the show fun to watch. And the 2nd male lead seems to be the very unsurprising perfect in every way dude that’s basically a knight in shining armor, so pretty much as generic as generic can be. While the 2nd female lead seems like the regular evil bi*tch that’s mad at life. This show soo far just extremely mediocre at best.
Edit: ep 5 was a lot better
Edit: ep 6 welp, the show reverted back to its mediocrity. Is it supposed to be cool that someone else takes credit for what he did? Lol. Retarted forced love triangle.
Edit: ep 8 yup can’t continue. His whole family is garbage. So because you guys wanna sit around and do nothing they blame him for leaving the farm and actually working to buy it back? Lmao. This whole thing is cringy. The male leads a hypocrite talking about how he doesn’t want them to get closer so he doesn’t tell her he saved her, but while saying this bs he’s with her every chance he can get. So instead we’re supposed to feel sorry for him, while he’s sad because she’s with his brother. Lol. Just bad writing at this point. I really can’t see how this is rated so highly. Doesn’t deserve it at all.
This show is extremely slow, which I can deal with. It’s the lack of any substance that kills me. Honestly it’s just needless drama that really has no business being there. I find myself skipping constantly during the show. The only good side character is the chubby lady. Really the only good thing that has came out of this was for the first time like ever a side character that is in love with the main moves on. Even though I still skipped her parts.
P.S. This show has some of the worst western actors I have ever seen. WTF. Lmao. Like they really couldn’t even find people who speak English correctly?? Really couldn’t be that hard.
Edit: Someone told me this show gets better at ep 14, so I had to find out how and yes it does. Major change. Only sad part is it seems like the dreaded trash love triangle is one step closer. Like why can’t you just stay away!! *tear*
Edit: ep 24- Ok so after episode 14 this show did a whole 360 from the boringness of the beginning. If your struggling with watching this I would definitely advise you to either just push through or watch the college days and a little bit of the other episodes and just skip to episode 14. It went from like a 7 to a 9/9.5. Definitely worth watching if you get past those boring beginning episodes.
This show is really strange, but interesting. The plot is bad and the vibe overall is just weird sorta parodyish, but it’s not a bad show. The main/side characters are interesting and fun to watch.
