I don't keep track of any other platform so not aware of him being the target but here I have seen number of comments on Yul where the character has been criticised Unfairly and sometimes even the actor also has been targeted. I am not anyone's fan here . I am just saying this kind of things spoil the fun of the show. I believe this platform is not meant for shipping wars when we actually have many other platform to support our ships aggressively . I just start feeling disinterested whenever I see such kinda comments here on this platform.

There were few people who tried to belittle the actor anyways I wasn't into yul initially at all but the more I tried to understand his position the more I started liking that character. Without bringing any kind of comparison I would like to say uk is the star of this show and I love when writer portray the contrast between yul and uk's personality. It Just because yul gets treated so unfairly here that I had to actually come in his defence .

He has a charming face but yes his acting skills are underwhelming but as far as yul is concerned I can understand that character and do feel bad when people undervalue the qualities of a good character just because they think it can affect their ship. Anyways I hv seen work of many idol actors and have enjoyed it too.

I agree he is not a great actor but I really do feel he gets more criticism than hedeserves just because he is third wheeling here.

It's absolutely fine if you don't like some one's work and think a particular actor needs to work on his/her acting skills but if you mention all these things inorder to prove your choices better and use it as a tool to put other's down then sorry I find it wrong. May be you don't see that way but it's okay !! I said what I felt.

I was initially so into Jang uk and mudeok/ Naksu and I could understand yul's state too. That was all smooth As it was pretty evident right from the beginning that Naksu/mudeok and uk will be the end game so I never shipped yul with Naksu/mudeok but then I started reading comments here and seeing shippers targetting yul and mocking the actor I actually started rooting for that character. I wish people learn to respect other's opinion here!! It is not wrong if someone wishes to see yul and mudeok as endgame . Their opinions are neither going to change the storyline nor gonna affect others opinion. Uk and Naksu/mudeok are meant for each other and their bond is surreal so let the admirers of yul live in their happy bubble.

She would definitely start realising later that the moments she had spent with uk matters to her and may be that's what the season 2 is all about. But I feel at this point she is driven by her"goal" only .

I absolutely agree with you on this!! Naksu and Women of Jin family had been introduced as powerful mages but that was
only up to introduction . They had nothing to do in the storyline. It's been 14 episode our female lead "The Powerful Assassins" still depends on Uk.

Competition of powers, competition of being The Best, competition of Proving oneself better than other or a race between two strong people for something precious like icestone .I would hv loved it more if it had been a battle of power than a battle of love. Jin and Queen are meant to be losers. So there is no fun whether jang uk will get the ice stone or not .

I agree!! He can be that One. Really hope he makes his re-entry in season 1

When we see stories as complex as Alchemy
of soul we usually expect to see many powerful characters . Here it is only summed up to uk. Though I like uk but seeing someone being great without any hurdle or competition reduces the intensity. Here antagonist are not strong or not seems wise enough to me and there is no one here with grey personality. You can differ but I feel the supportive characters could hv been given better plots and role in this show.

Oh that will definitely a jolt for Jang uk. Tbvh I still don't trust mudeok/Naksu love for Jang uk. Jang uk love would also be questioned once she gets back in her real body. Every action Naksu does while being in mudeok body seems planned to me. She is right now driven by her desires and motto so the idea of her being fallen for uk in this process and forgetting her realself just doesn't sit well with me

Yes, yul has a different personality and I personally loved when writer showed the contrast between uk and yul personalities but unfortunately all his potential has been diminished as one sided lover.

This show has so many male characters who are shown powerful mages and ruler but still I feel this show lacks a strong, powerful and impactful male character who can be a tough competitor of our male lead( not in terms of romance) I agree comedy gives a relief in such shows but in this show most of the male characters have become a subject of comedy scenes which makes it difficult for me to take them seriously . I really wish they had more solid male characters in this series. CP ,Park Jin, Dangu, Master Heo and even Master Lee all of them are just used to add comedy in the show. Where they could hv better personalities and bigger things to do. Seems all these characters hv been wasted. I sometimes feel here writer definitely has written a powerful story but failed to write multiple solid characters. Here Characters are One dimensional and not layered.

I don't think she needs to portray the traits of jung so min as mudeok. She will completely own her Naksu personality. Naksu is just acting like mudeok when she would get her body back she wouldn't act like mudeok. Apart from her feelings for Jang uk there would be nothing common. Yes , it will be challenging for her as jung so min is really a good actress but the little we have seen of Go Yu Jung as Naksu I think she gonna nail that tough assassin part. I just hope she doesn't become victim of unsolicited comparisons.

Yeah!! Its like when it comes to our loved ones our definition of right and wrong get changed.
Everyone cares for Naksu but no one even thinks about mudeok.
Most of the viewers here thinks like Jang uk and there are some like you who thinks like seo yul!!
She was an assassin before so I don't think I was a big deal for her to take someone's life.
